Objective:This study intends to explore the distribution characteristics of TCM constitution in patients with dyslipidemia,further analyze the correlation between general data,laboratory indicators and TCM constitution types of patients with dyslipidemia,and provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia from the perspective of “constitution relating to disease” in TCM constitution.Method:This study is a cross-sectional study of 609 patients who underwent physical examination in the Physical Examination Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2020 to July 2021,which 353 were included in the dyslipidemia group and 256 in the eulipidemic group.Collect general information:gender,age,height,weight,diet,body mass index(BMI),abdominal circumference(AC),history of tobacco and alcohol,previous history(cerebrovascular disease,coronary heart disease,diabetes,hypertension);TCM constitution identification results;laboratory indicators:total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),uric acid(UA),homocysteinemia(Hcy),fasting blood glucose(FBG),direct bilirubin(DBIL),indirect bilirubin(IBIL).The above data were statistically analyzed using SPSS26.0.Result:1.In the dyslipidemia group,the frequency of TCM constitution types from high to low were peaceful constitution(35.7%),damp-heat constitution(15.3%),yang-deficiency constitution(13.9%),qi-deficiency constitution(12.7%),phlegm-dampness constitution(9.6%),yin-deficiency constitution(4.8%),qi-stagnation constitution(3.4%),inherited special constitution(2.5%),blood stasis constitution(2.0%).The frequency of TCM constitution types of patients in the normal blood lipid group from high to low were peaceful constitution(32.0%),yang-deficiency constitution(24.6%),qideficiency constitution(11.7%),damp-heat constitution(9.8%),phlegmdampness constitution(7.0%),qi-stagnation constitution(4.3%),inherited special constitution(3.9%),blood stasis constitution(3.5%),yin-deficiency constitution(3.1%).The proportion of damp-heat constitution in the dyslipidemia group was higher than that in the normal blood lipid group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In the dyslipidemia group,there were statistical differences in the distribution of phlegm-dampness constitution and yang-deficiency constitution between different genders.The proportion of phlegm-dampness constitution in men was higher than that in women,and the proportion of yang-deficiency constitution in women was higher than that in men(P<0.05).3.There were significant differences in the distribution of TC,TG,LDL-C,FBG,UA,BMI,body weight,AC,smoking history,drinking history and hypertension history among different constitutions in dyslipidemia group(P<0.05).The results of pairwise comparison showed that the level of TC and LDL-C in patients with qi-deficiency constitution were higher than those in patients with yang-deficiency constitution(P<0.05);the TG level in patients with phlegm-damp constitution was higher than those in patients with yang-deficiency constitution and qi-deficiency constitution(P<0.05);Compared with yang-deficiency constitution,the damp-heat constitution had higher FBG level,and the peaceful constitution and phlegm-dampness constitution had higher UA level(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the distribution of HDL-C,Hcy,DBIL,IBIL,cerebrovascular disease history,diabetes history,and coronary heart disease history among different constitutions in the dyslipidemia group(P >0.05).5.Binary logistic regression results showed that the probability of patients with hypertension to be peaceful constitution was 0.324 times that of patients without hypertension(OR=0.324,95%CI: 0.162-0.646);The probability of qi-deficiency constitution was 2.418 times that of patients without hypertension(OR=2.418,95%CI: 1.167~5.012);the higher the LDLC level,the greater the probability of qi-deficiency constitution(OR=1.571,95%CI: 1.073~2.301);the increase of TC level and body weight decreased the probability of forming yang-deficiency constitution(OR=0.570,0.934);the probability of phlegm-dampness constitution in patients with smoking history was 2.884 times that of non-smoking patients(OR=2.884,95%CI: 1.378~6.036);for each level of meat intake,the probability of patients with phlegm-dampness constitution was 2.028 times(OR=2.028,95%CI: 1.025-3.658);body weight increased,the probability of patients with phlegm-dampness constitution increased(OR=1.032,95%CI:1.006-1.058).Conclusion:1.The distribution of TCM constitutions in the dyslipidemia group is mainly composed of peaceful constitution,damp-heat constitution,yangdeficiency constitution,qi-deficiency constitution,and phlegm-dampness constitution,among which damp-heat constitution may be the susceptibility to dyslipidemia.In the comparison of the biased constitution of different genders in the dyslipidemia group,the phlegm-dampness constitution was more common in men,and the yang-deficiency constitution was more common in women.2.Compared with the blood lipid indexes in the dyslipidemia group,the levels of TC and LDL-C in the qi-deficiency constitution were higher,and the TG level in the phlegm-dampness constitution was higher.3.TC,LDL-C,history of hypertension,smoking history,body weight,and meat intake may have an impact on the distribution of TCM constitution in patients with dyslipidemia.The above conclusions may provide reference for the prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia from the perspective of constitution relating to disease in TCM constitution.
