Adolescent depression causes serious harm to individuals and families, which requires effective prevention and intervention. With the rise of the third generation of behaviorism therapy, acceptance commitment therapy has attracted attention in psychology, medicine and other fields. This study explored the effect and mechanism of the core pathological model of acceptance commitment therapy on adolescent depression, providing theoretical guidance for the prevention and intervention of adolescent depression, and enriching relevant theoretical research. To explore the relationship between cognitive fusion, experience avoidance, rumination and the severity of adolescent depression,we explored the mediating role of rumination in cognitive fusion, experience avoidance and depression.191 adolescents with depression were selected for the cognitive fusion questionnaire, ruminant response Style Questionnaire, experience avoidance questionnaire and Hamilton Depression Scale.Descriptive statistics were performed on the data using SPSS,including independent sample T test and one-way ANOVA.Confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, path analysis and mediation effect test were performed using AMOS.The results are as follows:1.There were no significant differences between males and females in cognitive integration, experience avoidance, rumination anddepression in adolescent depression patients; There is no significant difference between left-behind and un-left-behind in cognitive integration, rumination and depression of adolescents with depression, and there is a significant difference between leftbehind and un-left-behind in experience avoidance.Rumination, experience avoidance, cognitive integration and some dimensions of depression had no significant differences in the family atmosphere, while there were significant differences in the cognitive and sleep dimensions between the poor family atmosphere and the harmonious family atmosphere.Cognitive fusion was positively correlated with experience avoidance, rumination, and severity of adolescent depression. There was a positive correlation between experience avoidance and the severity of adolescent depression.Rumination was positively correlated with the severity of adolescent depression.2.Cognitive fusion, experience avoidance and rumination can predict the severity of adolescent depression, and the combination of the three variables can explain the variation rate of adolescent depression severity in 86%.3.Cognitive fusion and experience avoidance can directly affect the severity of adolescent depression, and can also indirectly affect the severity of adolescent depression through rumination. In the mediation chain from cognitive fusion to rumination and then to the severity of adolescent depression, the mediating effect accounted for 53.4% of the total effect. The percentage of mediating effects in the mediating chain from experience avoidance to rumination to adolescent depression severity was 50.6%.Based on the above results, the following conclusions can be drawn: cognitive fusion, experience avoidance, rumination and the severity of adolescent depression are positively correlated;Cognitive fusion, experience avoidance and rumination can predict the severity of adolescent depression.Cognitive fusion and experience avoidance can not only directly affect the severity of depression, but also affect the severity of depression through rumination. Therefore,in the future prevention and intervention of adolescent depression, attention should be paid to the level of adolescent cognitive fusion, experience avoidance and rumination, and the changes in these three factors should be vigilant. When using acceptance and commitment therapy for adolescent depression,an intervention targeting rumination can be optionally added. |
