| Objective In this study, eye needle-point acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture therapy was used to treat patients with lumbar disc herniation, and its clinical efficacy was evaluated by observing the relief of pain and improvement of lumbar function,so as to provide a comprehensive and effective treatment for the clinic.MethodsIn this study,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method.30 patients were treated by conventional acupuncture therapy as control group, and 30 patients were treated by eye needle-point acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture therapy as treatment group. The control group was treated once a day,5 times a week, and the total course of treatment was 3 weeks. The treatment group was treated once a day,5 times a week, each time taking unilateral eye point area, the binocular area alternated every other day,the total course of treatment was 3 weeks.VAS pain score,JOA low back pain score and lumbar motion of 2 groups before and after treatment were recorded and analyzed to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results1.Before treatment in this study, the general data,VAS pain score,JOA low back pain score, and lumbar range of motion of the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment: after excluding 1case in the treatment group, the number of effective cases was 29,including 8 cured,20 improved, and 1 unhealed, the cure rate was 27.59%,and the effective rate was 96.56%;the control group The number of effective cases in the group was 30,including 3 cured,22 improved, and 5 unhealed. The cure rate was 10.00%,and the effective rate was 83.33%.Statistical analysis showed that the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture was better than that of conventional acupuncture.3.Comparison of VAS pain scores between the two groups before and after treatment: The VAS pain scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were compared with those before treatment, and the difference was significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment methods can effectively improve the VAS pain scores of patients After treatment, the VAS pain score of the experimental group was compared with that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that eye acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture was better than conventional acupuncture in improving the VAS pain score of patients.4.Comparison of JOA low back pain scores between the two groups before and after treatment: The JOA low back pain scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were compared with those before treatment, and the difference was significant(P< 0.05),indicating that both treatment methods can effectively improve patients’ JOA Low back pain score;after treatment, the JOA low back pain score of the experimental group was compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that eye acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture therapy was superior in improving the JOA low back pain score of patients.in conventional acupuncture therapy.5.Comparison of the range of motion of the lumbar spine between the two groups before and after treatment: After treatment, the lumbar spine flexion, extension, left flexion, right flexion, left rotation and right rotation of the two groups of patients were compared with those before treatment, and the difference was significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment methods can effectively improve the lumbar vertebrae in all directions; The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that eye acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture was better than conventional acupuncture in improving the movement angle of the lumbar spine in all directions.ConclusionsEye needle-point acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy are effective for lumbar disc herniation, and the two treatment methods can effectively relieve the symptoms of lumbar leg pain, improve lumbar flexion, extension, left flexion, right flexion, left rotation and right rotation of the activity Angle; In terms of curative effect, pain relief and lumbar motion improvement, eye needle-point acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture therapy is superior to conventional acupuncture therapy. |
