| Objective: To observe the effect of Dendrobium officinale on NLRP3,VEGFC and Asprosin in plasma of patients with T2 DM complicated with DR,to preliminarily explore the protective effect of Dendrobium officinale on retina and its possible mechanism. Methods: 60 outpatient and inpatient DR patients in our hospital were screened and randomly divided into control group(30 cases)and treatment group(30 cases). The treatment group was given insulin + Dendrobium nobile powder(2.0g/ bag,1 bag each time,3 times a day,one-shot infusion half an hour after meal),and the control group was only treated with insulin.Plasma VEGFC,NLRP3 and Asprosin levels were measured by Elisa method in all subjects before and after treatment.FFA detected retinal hemangioma and exudative lesions in all subjects before and after treatment, and OCTA detected retinal FAZ area of all subjects before and after treatment.SPSS 19.0 software was used for analysis. Before data analysis, homogeneity of variance and normality were tested.Data that did not conform to normal distribution were analyzed after logarithmic transformation.Mean ± standard deviation(`x± S)was used for continuous variable data in normal distribution.T-test was used for inter-group comparison.Pearson correlation analysis was used for continuous variable data in normal distribution, and multiple stepwise regression analysis was used for influencing factors.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:(1)There were no significant differences in age, gender,BMI,TG and HDL-C among all groups(P<0.05);(2)Plasma levels of FPG,Hb A1 c,TC,LDL-C in the treatment group were lower than those before and in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment in the control group, plasma levels of FPG,Hb A1 c,TC,LDL-C in the control group were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)Plasma levels of NLRP3,VEGFC and Asprosin in the treatment group were lower than those before and in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment in the control group, plasma levels of NLRP3,VEGFC and Asprosin in the control group were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)After treatment in the control group, there were no obvious changes in retinal microhemangioma and exudation before treatment in the control group. After treatment in the treatment group, retinal microhemangioma and exudation were significantly reduced before treatment in the treatment group.(5)After treatment in the control group, the area of macular free area of fovea in the control group was bigger than before. After treatment in the treatment group, the macular free area of fovea in the treatment group was smaller than that before treatment.(6)Pearson correlation analysis showeing,NLRP3 levels were negatively correlated with TC,LDL-C,Hb A1 c,VEGFC and Asprosin levels(r=0.258、0.274、0.407、0.329、0.353、0.296,P<0.05);(7)Logistic regression analysis indicated that high levels of FPG,Hb A1 c,FPG,TC,LDL-C,NLRP3,VEGFC and Asprosin were risk factors for DR in T2 DM patients. Conclusion: Dendrobium candidum has a certain protective effect on diabetic retinopathy, and its mechanism may be achieved by reducing the levels of VEGFC,NLRP3 and Asprosin in plasma. |
