The Clinical Efficacy Of Jiaotai Pill Plus Favor Combined With Sertraline Hydrochloride In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression In The Elderly

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiaotai Pill plus flavor combined with sertraline hydrochloride in the treatment of post-stroke(ischemic)depression(heart and kidney disorder type)in the elderly.Methods: Seventy-two eligible patients with post-stroke depression were selected from the outpatient and ward of the third Department of encephalopathy,Shandong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and randomly divided into two groups: control group and observation group,with36 cases in each group.In addition to the basic treatment of the two groups,the control group was added with sertraline hydrochloride(Zoloft),and the treatment group was added with Jiaotai Pill supplemented prescription on the basis of the control group.The treatment course was 4 weeks.Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-24)score,Chinese Medicine syndrome score,self-rating depression scale(SDS),National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,Barthel score(BI)score were evaluated before treatment and at the end of the fourth week of treatment.Data were analyzed to compare differences in efficacy and adverse reactions.Results: 1.After 4 weeks of treatment,the improvement degree of HAMD-24,TCM syndrome and SDS score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The NIHSS and BI scores of the two groups were improved,but there was no statistical significance after treatment compared with before treatment(P >0.05).3.The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group(8.57%)was lower than that in the control group(26.47%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).
