Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Harmonizing Yin and Yang acupuncture therapy in treatment of early knee arthralgia of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,and providing reference for the clinical treatment.Methods:In this study,74 patients who met the diagnostic and inclusion criteria were divided into two groups by random number table method,37 cases in the treatment group and 37 cases in the control group.The treatment group was treated with Harmonizing Yin and Yang acupuncture therapy,and the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture therapy.Both groups were treated for 6 times as a course of treatment,with a total of 2 courses of treatment.The changes of TCM symptom scores,VAS scores and WOMAC scores of the two groups before and after treatment were observed,and the data were statistically processed and analyzed by SPSS statistical software to compare the efficacy.Results:After treatment,TCM symptom scores,VAS scores and WOMAC scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),the treatment group was more effective in reducing TCM symptom scores and WOMAC scores(P<0.05).After treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 94.59% and 86.49% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both Harmonizing Yin and Yang acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy in treatment of early knee arthralgia of qi stagnation and blood stasis type can improve patients’ TCM symptoms,knee joint pain and daily activities of knee joint.However,in terms of improving TCM symptoms and daily activities of knee joint,the curative effect of the treatment group was more superior.
