Clinical Study Of Addition And Subtraction Of Xiaoyaosan Combined With Escitalopram In The Treatment Of Depression Patients With Depressed And Discomfort State Of Liver-qi Depression And Spleen Deficiency

Objective: In this study,the efficacy and safety of addition and subtraction of Xiaoyaosan combined with escitalopram in the treatment of depression patients with depressed and discomfort state of liver-qi depression and spleen deficiency were evaluated,by observing the difference in scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Liver-qi Depression and Spleen Deficiency Syndrome Scale,and Depressed and Discomfort State Rating Scale before and after treatment,in order to provide new ideas on syndrome differentiation and treatment methods for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of depression.Methods: Selected from December 2020 to December 2021,a total of 60 depression patients with inpatient and outpatient in the second department of neurology,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with depressed and discomfort state of liver-qi depression and spleen deficiency were selected.The patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table.The experimental group was treated with the method of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and the oral administration of Xiaoyao Powder combined with escitalopram was given.The control group was treated with pure western medicine and given oral escitalopram.The curative effects of the two groups were evaluated after 8 weeks of treatment.Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome scale and depression and discomfort scale were used to evaluate the condition of patients before and after treatment.After summarizing and arranging clinical data,the clinical efficacy of addition and subtraction of Xiaoyaosan combined with escitalopram was determined.At the same time,the possible adverse reactions were recorded to assess drug safety.Result:1.There was no significant difference in the general data of the two groups,including gender,age,and the scores of HAMD,Liver-qi Depression and Spleen Deficiency Syndrome Scale and Depressed and Discomfort State Rating Scale before treatment.The two groups were comparable.2.Judgment of curative effect of Western medicine: After treatment,the effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the intra-group and inter-group comparisons of HAMD scores between the experimental group and the control group were P<0.05.The curative effect of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.3.Judgment of curative effect of TCM syndrome: After treatment,the effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the Liver-qi Depression and Spleen Deficiency Syndrome Scale in both groups were decreased,and the scores in the experimental group decreased more than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Judgment of curative effect of TCM mental disorder state: Both the experimental group and the control group were effective in improving the symptoms of depression and discomfort state,and the Depressed and Discomfort State Rating Scale scores were reduced after treatment.The effective rate of the experimental group was 86.21%,and that of the control group was 67.85%.The effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group.Through the analysis of highfrequency items,the experimental group had a prominent effect in alleviating emotional disorders and physical symptoms.5.Safety evaluation: During the 8-week treatment,all patients did not have obvious adverse reactions,and there were no obvious abnormalities in laboratory indexes and routine examination results.Conclusion:1.Addition and subtraction of Xiaoyaosan combined with escitalopram can reduce the HAMD score,TCM syndrome scale score and mental disorder scale score of patients with depression,and effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with depression.2.The clinical efficacy of addition and subtraction of Xiaoyaosan combined with escitalopram in the treatment of depression is better than that of escitalopram alone.3.The clinical application of addition and subtraction of Xiaoyaosan combined with escitalopram in the treatment of depression is safe.
