Clinical Study Of Qishen Tongqiao Recipe In The Treatment Of Children With Adenoid Hypertrophy(Lung-spleen-qi Deficiency Type)

Objective: To explore the new ideas of traditional Chinese medicine for treating adenoid hypertrophy in children by observing the clinical effect of Qishen Tongqiao Recipe on adenoid hypertrophy(lung-spleen-qi deficiency type).Methods: The 60 children included in the study were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.The treatment group was given Qishentongqiao Decoction orally,and the control group was given oral montelukast sodium chewable tablets combined with mometasone furoate nasal spray nasal spray.After treatment,both groups were treated for 1 month.The main symptom scores,secondary symptom scores,and adenoid volume(A/N value)scores were recorded before and after treatment in the two groups.The number of recurrence cases was recorded during the follow-up for 1 month,and the final statistics were performed.The comprehensive efficacy of the two groups was analyzed and compared.Results: Both the treatment group and the control group could significantly improve the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of children with adenoid hypertrophy,and both could significantly reduce the volume of adenoids.The curative effect of the treatment group in relieving the main symptoms and secondary symptoms was better than that in the control group,and the curative effect in reducing the volume of adenoids was similar between the two groups.The comprehensive curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the number of recurrences was significantly less than that of the control group.Conclusion: Qishen Tongqiao Recipe can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of adenoid hypertrophy(lung and spleen deficiency type)and reduce the volume of adenoids,with definite curative effect and worthy of promotion.
