Clinical Efficacy Of Umbilical Acupuncture With Conventional Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Depression Of Liver Qi Stagnation Type

Objective: By observing and comparing the clinical efficacy of umbilical acupuncture with conventional acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of liver qi depression,the therapeutic effect of umbilical acupuncture with conventional acupuncture on liver qi depression was explored to provide new ideas and develop new methods for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this disease.Methods: Sixty patients with liver qi depression who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment and control groups,with 30 cases in each group.In the treatment group,umbilical acupuncture was used together with conventional acupuncture,while in the control group,acupuncture alone was used.Both groups were treated for 2 courses of therapy,and the improvement of depression and its differences between the two groups before and after treatment were compared by counting the changes of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)(17items)scores,Depression Self-Rating Scale(SDS)scores,and Chinese Medicine Evidence Scale scores in both groups before and after treatment.Results: 1.HAMD score: After two courses of treatment,the HAMD scores of both the treatment group and the control group decreased(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate of the acupuncture plus conventional acupuncture group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the conventional acupuncture group was 83.33%.2.SDS score: After two courses of treatment,the SDS scores of both the treatment group and the control group were decreased(P<0.05),and the comparison between groups showed that the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.TCM syndrome score: After two courses of treatment,the symptoms of mental depression,emotional restlessness,chest and flank distention,chest tightness,belching and belching in the treatment group and the control group were improved(P<0.01).The improvement of each symptom was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion: Umbilical acupuncture with conventional acupuncture method is effective in treating depression of liver qi stagnation type,and it is an effective method for treating depression,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
