Objective: To understand the current level of family function,self-compassion and exercise adherence in stroke patients;to explore the relationship between family function,self-compassion and exercise adherence in stroke patients and to analyze the path;to analyze the main factors affecting the adherence of exercise in stroke patients,so as to provide a practical and effective theoretical basis for the formulation of rehabilitation adherence interventions for stroke patients. Methods: The study applies convenience sampling method,From March to September 2021,325 stroke patients who met the inclusion criteria in the Department of Neurology,Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation of a Tertiary Grade a General Hospital in Jilin Province were selected as the study subjects.Use self-designed general demographic questionnaire,Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales(FACES Ⅱ-CV),Self-Compassion Scale(SCS-C)and Questionnaire of Exercise Adherence(EAQ)as research tools.Use SPSS26.0 and MPLUS8.3 installation packages to perform statistical analysis and processing on the collected data.Results:(1)Stroke patients scored(109.22 ± 10.43)(out of 150).The differences in family function scores of different marital statuses, education level, occupation, average monthly income, medical payment method, sick time, and main caregivers were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Stroke patients scored(80.87 ± 14.10)(out of 130).There were statistically significant differences in the self-compassion scores of stroke patients with different education levels, occupations, places of residence, average monthly income, medical payment methods, and disease diagnosis types(P<0.05).(3)Patients with stroke had an exercise adherence score of(36.68± 8.24)(out of 56).71.1% of hospitalized stroke patients had a moderate to low level of adherence to functional exercises.Different age, gender, marital status, education level, occupation, place of residence, average monthly income, medical payment method, time of sick, main caregiver, and whether combine with other chronic diseases, there were statistically significant differences in the adherence of exercise of stroke patients(P<0.05).(4)The family function score of stroke patients was positively correlated with the self-compassion score(r=0.480,P<0.001),the family function score was positively correlated with the adherence of exercise score(r=0.392,P<0.001),and the self-compassion score was positively correlated with the adherence of exercise score was positively correlated(r=0.491,P<0.001).(5)Family adaptability,self-compassion,age,average monthly income, marital status, education level, place of residence, and whether combine with other chronic diseases entered the regression equation that affects the adherence of stroke patients with functional exercise, explaining 44.7% of the variance together.(6)Family function has a positive predictive effect on the adherence of stroke patients with functional exercise;self-compassion has a positive predictive effect on the adherence of stroke patients with functional exercise;self-compassion plays a partial mediating role between family function and compliance with the adherence of exercise,The proportion of indirect effects in the total effect is 0.3189.Conclusion:(1)The self-compassion score of stroke patients was lower than the theoretical average score, and the level of self-compassion needed to be improved;more than 2/3 of hospitalized stroke patients had low or medium level of functional exercise adherence.(2)The higher the family function score in stroke patients, the better the functional exercise compliance;the higher the self-compassion score, the better the functional exercise compliance.(3)The main factors influencing functional exercise adherence in stroke patients are family adaptability,self-compassion,age,average monthly income, marital status, education level, place of residence, and the presence or absence of other chronic diseases.(4)Self-compassion in stroke patients plays a partial mediating role between family adaptability and functional exercise adherence, and family adaptation can indirectly positively affect functional exercise adherence through self-compassion.
