After the eastward spread of Western learning,the inherent knowledge and thinking framework of the Chinese people have been broken.Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners are constantly exploring and trying to find a development path that is "in line with with the logic of science and traditional medical",hoping Chinese medicine can make breakthroughs in the turbulent social environment.Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine came into being in the context of this era.As a Chinese Medicine Journal in the Republic of China,Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine involved many TCM speculative remarks,medical cases,medical political,medical education,medical affairs,and recorded many rare documents.At present,the overall research on Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine is still rare.This paper selects Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the research object,uses the method of literature research and comparative analysis to sort out the journal in detail,and clarifies the various columns of the journal,clarifies the focus of the journal from many columns of the journal,summarizes the characteristics and value of the journal,and aims to provide reference and reference for related research.Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in the spring of 1934 and stopped in the spring of 1937,with a total of thirteen issues published.The columns of this magazine included features,translations,internal medicine,gynecology,scriptures,notes,newsletters,speeches,psychology,physiology,pathology,treatment,drugs,medical cases,prescriptions,miscellaneous tricks,lecture notes,and literature research..Through the combing of the columns of each issue,this paper takes the common columns in the journal as the main research objects.In addition,through the method of induction,the commonalities of articles distributed in different issues and different columns are found,and the content of the journal is finally distilled into five aspects:"Speech","Podium","Medicine","Lecture Notes" and "Translation".Taking the "Speech" column as the front,the journal compared the differences and advantages and disadvantages of Chinese medicine and Western medicine by inviting doctors to speaking and then publishing speeches,discussed the development environment of Chinese medicine,and analyzed the significance of Chinese medicine research.The"Podium" was mainly divided into two parts:"reporting academic progress"and "introducing research experience"."Medicine" are divided into two parts:"Introduction to Chinese Medicine" and "Cognition of Chinese Medicine".The "Lecture Notes" section mainly includes two parts:"outline of"lecture notes on pharmacology" and "summary of lecture notes on miscellaneous diseases".And the "Translation" part focused on the medical explanation of Key Points of Chinese Medicine.Although Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a local journal was not enough to fully present the overall appearance of the state of Chinese medicine during the Republic of China,its own characteristics still does not lose its style.The magazine relies on Suzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine School adopting the four-in-one model of "medical teaching,research and editing".Importantly.Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine has become an important position to fight for the right to speak of traditional Chinese medicine.Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine selected excellent articles from students for publication,vigorously used post-study talents,and broadened the perspective of medical attention to overseas,paying special attention to the development of Japanese Kampo medicine,and making important contributions to the in-depth exchange of Chinese medicine between China and Japan.Suzhou Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine selected articles from famous doctors and famous experts to publish which greatly enhanced the influence and credibility.
