In this social life,the most frequently-occuring disease among middle-aged and elderly people is cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.Atherosclerosis(AS)is a "contributor" to its formation.Even young and healthy people cannot escape the disease chase.Early defense has become a hot spot for researchers.The latest pathological research results show that in the early stage of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,carotid arterial(CA)wall stiffness decreases as stiffness increases,so that the pulsation displacement of the carotid artery wall is significantly reduced,and the pulsatile displacement of carotid wall and the change of lumen diameter as a key factor in assessing atherosclerosis risk.Researching out a method that can accurately detect the pulsation displacement of the carotid artery wall has great guide significance for precaution the further deterioration of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions.However,due to the patient’s breathing during the ultrasound examination and the accidental jitter when the doctor holds the probe,the pulsation displacement of the carotid artery wall extracted by the ultrasound image of the result unable to represent the pulsation displacement of the carotid artery wall under real conditions.Therefore,it is a key prerequisite to accurately extract the pulsatile displacement of the carotid artery wall to study the effect to suppress the interpose of external interference during ultrasonography.Carotid artery wall pulsation displacement interference suppression based on ultrasound images clustering with Gamma mixture model(UICG)is an effective algorithm for suppressing external interference.Firstly,the carotid artery ultrasound image sequence is clustered with Gamma mixture model.Secondly,the external interference curve is obtained by the offset data of the clustered distant tissue.Finally,the external interference of clustering image sequence is eliminated,and the displacement curve of the vessel wall beating state is extracted by using the speckle tracking method.For the sake of confirm the validity of UICG method,simulation experiments and measured experiments are carried out,and the result curve are contradistinction to the position weighted principal axis and centroid method combined with mutual information(PCMI).Ten sets in simulation display,compared to the previous registration,namely,the position weighted principal axis and centroid method combined with mutual information,the mean of the normalized root mean square errors(NRMSEs)of the UICG-based interference estimations in the directions of X,Y,rotation are reduced at 36%,38%,and32%,respectively,and the mean of NRMSEs of the estimated wall displacements are decreased by 37%.Experiments in clinical practice based on the carotid arteries of 10 healthy subjects further have proven the effectiveness of the UICG method.In summary,the UICG method can effectively suppress interference and thus improve the measurement accuracy of the wall displacement.
