Objective: To investigate and analyze the status quo of postpartum fatigue, social support and maternal-infant bonding in puerperal women, and to further explore the correlations among postpartum fatigue, social support and maternal-infant bonding,so as to provide reference for promoting health of mothers and infants and formulating reasonable and effective health education and nursing interventions. Methods: A non-experimental study was conducted in obstetric clinic of two hospitals in Jilin Province.By the convenience sampling method,259 women were recruited from June 2021 to November 2021.Demographic information questionnaire,Postpartum Fatigue Scale(PFS),Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire(PBQ)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)were used to collect data.Data were collated and analyzed using SPSS26.0.Frequency,percentage,median,and quartile range were used to describe the general demographic characteristics, postpartum fatigue, social support, and maternal-infant bonding of puerperal women.Mann-Whitney U test and KruskalWallis H test were used to analyze the influencing factors of maternal-infant bonding, postpartum fatigue and social support.Spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the correlations among postpartum fatigue, social support and maternal-infant bonding in puerperal women. The influencing factors of maternal-infant bonding were further explored by multiple linear regression analysis.Results:(1)The total score of maternal-infant bonding was 11.00(7.00,15.00),mild bonding disorders accounted for 9.3%,threatened rejection accounted for 0.8%,established rejection accounted for 0.4%.There were statistically significant differences in maternal history, infant health status, feeding style, sleep status and husband-wife relationship, which were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)The total score of postpartum fatigue was 14.00(13.00,15.00),mild fatigue accounted for 62.2%,moderate and severe fatigue accounted for 0.8% and 0.4%respectively.There were statistically significant differences in maternal history, whether pregnancies are planned, infant health status, feeding method, sleep status, monthly family income, education level and husband-wife relationship(P < 0.05).(3)The total score of social support was 34.00(31.00,39.00),the low level accounted for 0.6%,and the medium and high levels accounted for 88.8% and 10.6%respectively.There were statistically significant differences in ages, maternal history, infant health status, sleep status and husband-wife relationship(P < 0.05).(4)Spearman correlation analysis showed that maternal-infant bonding was positively correlated with postpartum fatigue score(R =0.661,P < 0.01).Maternalinfant bonding was negatively correlated with social support score(R =-0.549,P <0.01).Postpartum fatigue was negatively correlated with social support score(R =-0.437,P < 0.01).There were correlations among maternal-infant bonding, postpartum fatigue and social support.(5)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that factors, such as postpartum fatigue, poor sleep status, mixed feeding, artificial feeding and social support, had the greatest impact on maternal-infant bonding in puerperal women.Conclusion:(1)There were different degrees of postpartum fatigue in subjects with a majority of mild fatigue. There was high level of social support in subjects. There existed abnormal maternal-infant bonding in 10.5% of subjects.(2)There was a positive correlation between postpartum fatigue score and maternal-infant bonding score in puerperal women. There was a negative correlation between social support score and maternal-infant bonding score in puerperal women. The higher the degree of postpartum fatigue they got,the higher the degree of abnormality of maternal-infant bonding they had.The higher level of the social support they got,the lower the degree of abnormality of maternal-infant bonding they had.(3)The main factors influencing maternal-infant bonding include postpartum fatigue, poor sleep status, mixed feeding, artificial feeding and social support. The development of the maternal-infant bonding can be promoted by reducing maternal fatigue and improving social support.
