Study On The Evidence And Treatment Of Fire-Depression In Treatise On Typhoid Based On Data Mining

Objective: Through analyzing the original text of Treatise on Typhoid,this paper discussed the theory and method of Zhang Zhongjing’s treatment of fire-depression and summarized the characteristics of treatment of fire-depression in Treatise on Typhoid.The purpose is that provides ideas for the clinical treatment of fire-depression from multiple perspectives and further improves the clinical efficacy of treatment of fire-depression.Method: Based on literature research and theoretical analysis,this paper explored the theory and method of the six meridians in Treatise on Typhoid for the treatment of fire-depression.Using the method of statistical analysis,the classical prescriptions were selected that applicable to the treatment of fire-depression were comprehensively analyzed for the application patterns of their formulas with the TCM inheritance auxiliary platform.Result: The site of fire-depression in the three Yang diseases is relatively superficial,mostly in the upper jiao and middle jiao.Clinical manifestation shows as annoyance,asthma,vomiting,anxiety,etc.Treatment is based on combining the therapeutic method of volatilization using the pungent herb with drainage using the bitter herb.Common TCM herbs include cassia twig,ephedra,radix bupleuri,gypsum,fructus gardeniae,etc.The site of fire-depression in the three Yin diseases is deeper,usually in the middle jiao and lower jiao,clinical manifestation mostly shows as coldness of the hands and feet and diarrhea.Thetreatment is based on combination cold with warm for therapy.Common TCM herbs are monkshood,dried ginger,scutellaria baicalensis,coptis,angelica,white peony,etc.Conclusion: All six meridians have fire-depression symptoms.The treatment of fire-depression is still based on the essential principle of fire-depression as proposed in Huangdi Neijing.Therapeutic method include the method of pungent and warm,the method of dredge and dispersing blood stasis,etc.In terms of symptoms,the five internal organs can see the fire-depression,the inside can be depressed blood veins,the outside can reach the skin.The characteristics can be summarized as upward rush,downward pressure,internal disturbance.The drug’s characteristics one is opening depression first,the other is combined cold with warm for therapy.
