Objective:(1)to search the relevant records about the etiology,pathogenesis,symptoms and treatment of osteoarthritis from Mongolian literature,and make a detailed discussion with Mongolian medical theory.(2)Clinically,it provides Mongolian medical theoretical basis for the treatment of osteoarthritis.Methods: Literature collection: 11 ancient books of Mongolian medicine were collected from the library of Inner Mongolia Minzu University.Among them,there are 7 records about joint yellow water disease.23 modern Mongolian medical textbooks and books were collected from the library of Inner Mongolia Minzu University.From the Chinese Journal(www.cnki.Net)and various medical journals(1990-2019),17 articles on the treatment of joint yellow water disease by Mongolian medicine were searched.Collate Literature: collate and collect the relevant contents of joint yellow water disease mainly recorded in Ancient Mongolian medicine documents and modern Mongolian medicine textbooks and books.Results: Although there is no description of osteoarthritis in the ancient literature of Mongolian medicine,osteoarthritis can belong to the category of joint yellow water disease of Mongolian medicine from its clinical manifestations.There are 32 kinds of single drugs,7 prescriptions and 5 therapies recorded in the ancient books of Mongolian medicine.There are 40 single drugs,26 prescriptions and 10 therapies recorded in modern textbooks and books of Mongolian medicine.In contrast,the single drug for the treatment of joint yellow water disease recorded in ancient books of Mongolian medicine is the component of modern Mongolian medicine prescriptions.It is found that the cognition and treatment of joint yellow water disease have developed significantly compared with the early stage.Conclusion:This study proves that Mongolian medicine has a clear understanding and unique treatment principles for the treatment of osteoarthritis long ago,provides Mongolian medicine theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis,and has a certain reference significance for the dialectical treatment and research of osteoarthritis in Mongolian medicine in the future. |
