| [Objective]In worldwide, gastric cancer is very common and the mechanisms remain unclear. This study aims to explore the relationship between EIF3B and the occurrence, development and prognosis of gastric cancer by analyzing the expression level of EIF3B protein in gastric cancer and adjacent tissues.[Materials and methods]Hstm-Ade180Sur-04 was used for further analysis included 90 gastric cancer tissues and 90 adjacent normal tissues(≥ 5 cm).The expression level of EIF3B was detected by the immunohistochemical method to study the association between EIF3B protein expression and clinicopathology in gastric cancer.[Results]The expression level of EIF3B in gastric cancer tissues was found significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).Overexpression of EIF3B in gastric cancer was related to tumor size and age limited of 60 years(P<0.05).Besides,compared with patients with lower expression, the overall survival of patients with higher expression EIF3B was significantly shortened(P<0.05).[Conclusion]EIF3B protein detection is helpful to predict the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer and may provide reference in the differential diagnosis of cancer tissue and adjacent tissue. |
