Objective:To investigate the effects of transcutaneous electrical stimulation on fatigue, quality of life and inflammatory factors in patients after a stroke, and to provide a more standardized intervention program for clinical care. Methods:On the basis of literature review, expert consultation, summarizing clinical experience and pre-experiment,this study aims to establish an intervention plan of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation for post-stroke fatigue.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,80 cases of strokes were selected. The post-stroke fatigue patients were divided into an experimental group and a control group according to the random number table method. In the experimental group, the transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation therapy was given on the basis of routine treatment and treatment of a stroke. The control group received only routine treatment and nursing of a stroke. The intervention time of the experimental group was 15 days. That is,two courses of the treatment, each treatment lasting 7 days, with the interval of one day.The Fatigue Severity Scale(FSS)was used to evaluate the fatigue degree of each group before and after intervention for 7 days,15 days and 30 days after the intervention. The effects of post-stroke fatigue on the inflammation index were observed by the levels of serum CRP and IL-6,the two groups were measured by blood test. After the intervention and 30 days after the intervention, the Stroke-Specific Quality of Life(SS-QOL)was used to evaluate the quality of life after the stroke in both groups. We evaluated the effect of transcutaneous electrical stimulation on long-term quality of life in patients with post-stroke fatigue.Results:① Comparison of FSS scores:There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after intervention for 7 days(P>0.05).There was statistically significant difference between the two groups after intervention for 15 days(P<0.05).The score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group at 30 days after the intervention and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The experimental group was treated for 7 days(P<0.01),compared with the previous intervention, there was no significant difference between the two times(P>0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01)compared withthe two times after intervention for 7 days and 15 days. There was no significant difference betweenthe intervention for 15 days and 30 days after the intervention in the experimental group(P>0.05).The control group had no significant difference between each time(P>0.05).②The difference of levels of CRP was statistically significant difference between the two groups after intervention for 15 days(P<0.05).The serum levels of IL-6 in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).Compared betweeneach group, the levels of serum CRP and IL-6 in the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).③SS-QQL score comparison.30 days after the end of the intervention, the two groups of patients were analyzed in energy, family roles, activity, mood, limb function, work and labor dimensions and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in language,personality,self-care ability, social role, thinking and visual acuity(P>0.05),compared with 30 days after intervention,(P<0.01).In the dimension of language, personality, thinking and visual acuity, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).In terms of language,personality,(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:①The transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation used in this study has feasibility for post-stroke fatigue intervention.② The transcutaneous electrical stimulation can effectively relieve fatigue after stroke symptoms, and improve patients quality of life.③ The transcutaneous electrical stimulation of patients with post-stroke fatigue in patients with serum pro inflammatory factors have a certain impact, but it has yet to be further verified.
