Changes Of Grain Multiple Cropping Index And Its Influencing Factors In Hunan Province Study

Hunan province is known as the "rice warehouse in the South of the Yangtze River",with a grain output of 25 million tons and a rice planting area of more than 5,000 hectares,ranking first in China(accounting for more than one eighth of the total).Since the 21 st century,rice production has been confronted with such problems as tight environmental constraints of cultivated land resources,declining comprehensive farmland fertility,aging water conservancy facilities and non-point source pollution.To study the change of hunan province’s grain multiple cropping index and its influencing factors can optimize the hunan province’s grain management mode to a certain extent,improve the competitiveness of the grain market,break the constraints of agricultural resources and environment and promote the development of the competitiveness of the grain market.Hunan province is an important national grain base,the quality and quantity of cultivated land have an important impact on grain yield.This paper defines the concept of cultivated land,multiple crop index,the acreage sown to grain and food in hunan province,combs the research status of grain cropping index at home and abroad and the theory of input and output theory,externality and sustainable development,design index of grain,multiple cropping index using in hunan province statistical yearbook(2002-2021),the relevant data,The characteristics and evolution of grain cultivation in 14 prefectures and 4 main topographic areas of Hunan province from 2001 to 2020 were analyzed.The data of grain planting area and sown area in Hunan province were sorted out,and the indicators were comprehensively selected as machinery consumption,irrigation area,fertilizer consumption,per capita GDP,rural employed population,fiscal expenditure,urbanization level and per capita disposable income,and the influence of urban grain multiple cropping index was obtained by statistical data method.The regression analysis of the factors influencing the multiple cropping index in Hunan province showed that the irrigated area had a great influence on the multiple cropping index.In space,the cities of Hunan province are divided into four regions based on terrain and natural climate,and the influencing factors of multiple cropping index in different regions are analyzed by statistical regression analysis method.The results showed that the indexes in different regions had different influences on the grain multiple cropping index,such as the urbanization level and per capita GDP in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area,Dongting Lake area and southern Hunan had negative influences on the grain multiple cropping index,while the area of irrigation area and fertilizer consumption in western Hunan had negative influences.According to the factors affecting the change of grain multiple cropping index in different regions and the actual situation of cultivated land use and utilization in this region,corresponding policy suggestions were put forward.The improvement of hunan grain multiple cropping index needs the coordination of the party,grain producers and social organizations in terms of concept,technology and management.Under the background of rural revitalization strategy in the new period,Hunan province should continue to maintain the leading position of grain sown area,yield and multiple cropping index.The improvement measures include clear development strategy,promoting the progress of rice cultivation technology,moderate scale operation,main body of operation and structural adjustment,etc.,greatly increasing the multiple cropping index of grain by 2035,and promoting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Hunan Province.
