Rice is the main food crop in the world and plays an important role in guaranteeing national food security.Aiming at the problems of high yield loss and poor harvest effect of the lodging rice machine,based on the development of the combined harvester and the current situation of the cutting table loss reduction technology at home and abroad,this paper carried out theoretical research and experiment on the reduction loss of the lodging rice combined harvester,and designed a low loss and high efficiency lodging rice combined harvester.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)The geometric characteristics measurement and agronomic traits investigation were carried out on the lodging ‘ Zaozhong 35 ’ rice’ after lodging.The geometric characteristics measurement results were as follows : the average stem length of the rice plant was 583.5 mm,the average height of the panicle from the ground under lodging was 168.5 mm,the average lodging angle was 73.2°,and the natural average growth height was 597.3 mm,which provided a basis for the structural parameters design of the key components of the blade-protecting straw-restorer and the dial wheel of the lodging rice combine harvester.The results of agronomic traits were as follows :the average panicle length of rice was 24.42 mm,the average number of shriveled grains was 11,the average number of filled grains was 131,and the seed setting rate was 92.3 %.(2)The forward and reverse harvest performance tests of lodging rice in the field were carried out by the traditional combine harvester,and the results showed that the average leakage rate of reverse lodging harvest was 4.24 % lower than that of forward lodging harvest,and the technical scheme of cutting platform for rice harvest in the direction of reverse lodging was determined.(3)The component edge-protecting straw baler was designed,and the base width,length and height of the edge-protecting straw baler were determined as 5 mm,200 mm and 150 mm,respectively.It is determined that the thickness of streamlined surface of blade-protecting straw balm is 3 mm and the width is 24 mm;several edge-protecting and grain-supporting devices were assembled with the cutting platform frame to form the whole edge-protecting and grain-supporting device;the dial wheel was designed.The vertical distance between the dial wheel axis and the cutter plane was 742.3 mm,the rotation speed of the dial wheel was 28.8 r / min,the diameter of the dial wheel was795 mm,and the height adjustment range of the dial wheel from the cutter plane was662.4 ~ 742.3 mm.(4)Taking the leakage rate and the grain loss rate of the header as the evaluation indexes,the single factor experiments of rice harvesting in the direction of lodging and reverse lodging were carried out on the header of the lodging rice combine harvester.The results showed that the total loss rates of the header in the direction of lodging and reverse lodging were 4.82 % and 2.23 %,respectively,when the lodging angle was between 70 ° and 80 °.The optimal harvesting method of the header was reverse lodging.Under the reverse lodging direction,the harvest effect of the lodging rice combine harvester header was compared with that of the traditional rice combine harvester header in China.The results showed that the total loss rate of the header was3.35 % lower than that of the traditional rice combine harvester header.
