| Objective: to study the effects of lavender dew on growth performance, serum biochemical index, antioxidant index and immune function of weaned piglets, and to explore its inhibitory effect on strains isolated from dead piglets. In order to provide reference data for lavender dew as a green feed additive. Methods: 60 healthy piglets and 60 weak weaned piglets with obvious diarrhea symptoms were randomly divided into healthy control group(JD group),JT1 group and JT2 group supplemented with lavender pure dew according to daily diet of 1% and 2%,and weak control group(BD group),1% group(BT1 group)and 2% group(BT2 group). The pre-test was 5 days, and the positive test was 30 days.On the1 st and 30 th day of the experiment, the body weight of each piglet was recorded, the daily feed intake and residual amount of ADG;were calculated, the ADFI and Fmax G of each piglet were calculated, and the diarrhea rate and mortality rate of each group were calculated. On the 30 th day of the experiment, the serum samples of each group were collected to detect the serum biochemical indexes such as TP,ALB,TG,TC,antioxidant indexes such as MAD,T-AOC,SOD,GSH-Px,immunoglobulin such as Ig A,Ig M,Ig G,and the concentration of cytokines such as IL-6,IL-8,IFN-β,IFN-γ and TNF-α.The bacteria in the lymph nodes of dead piglets were isolated and identified.four antibiotics commonly used in piglet farms, including amoxicillin, lincomycin hydrochloride, penicillin sodium and compound sulfamethoxine sodium, and lavender pure dew were selected to detect the inhibitory effect of lavender pure dew on isolated strains and the drug resistance of isolated strains.Results:1.Effects of lavender dew on growth performance and blood biochemical indexes of weaned pigs.Compared with JD group,ADG in JT1 group and JT2 group 73.59% and58.23%(P<0.05),SOD concentration increased by 22.02% and 16.05%(P <0.05),GSH-Px concentration increased by 1.05% and 0.62%(P>0.05).The serum concentration of Ig A and Ig M in JT1 increased significantly by 78.01% and 68.65%(P<0.01).In JT2 group, the concentration of Ig A and Ig M increased by73.19% and 49.45%(P<0.05),and the concentration of Ig G increased by 23.61% and 12.13%(P>0.05).IL-6concentration decreased by 17.55% and 7.32%(P<0.05),IL-8 concentration increased by 3.61% and2.55%(P>0.05),IFN-β concentration decreased by 15.5% and 14.96%(P<0.05),IFN-γ concentration increased by 1.59% and 1.01%(P>0.05),TNF-α concentration increased by 2.04% and 0.95%(P>0.05).Compared with BD group, serum MAD concentration in BT1 and BT2 groups decreased by 8.26% and1.93%(P>0.05),T-AOC concentration significantly increased by 37.04% and 17.27%(P<0.05),SOD concentration significantly increased by 17.89% and 13.10%(P<0.05),and GSH-Px concentration significantly increased by 21.1% and 14.70%(P<0.05).Ig A increased by 25.09% and 26.14%(P>0.05),Ig M concentration increased by 8.81% and 9.88%(P>0.05),Ig G significantly increased by 34.1% and 35.89%(P < 0.05).IL-6 significantly increased by 16.18% and 13.25%(P<0.05),IL-8 concentration increased by2.13% and 1.52%(P>0.05),IFN-β concentration decreased by 7.19% and 1.67%(P>0.05),IFN-γconcentration increased by 1.88% and 1.36%(P>0.05),TNF-α concentration increased by 56.27% and50.16%(P<0.05).It can be seen that adding lavender pure dew to the diet can improve the free radical scavenging ability and immune performance of weaned piglets,so as to improve the disease resistance of weaned piglets, especially the disease resistance of weak piglets, and the effect of adding 1% group is better than 2% group.3.Inhibitory effect of lavender pure dew on bacteria from pigs.3 strains of Escherichia coli,2 strains of Bacillus filariae and 1 strain of Enterococcus were isolated by isolation, culture,PCR identification and biochemical identification. The MIC of lavender pure dew against Escherichia coli was 8 times concentrated solution, and the drug resistance of Escherichia coli was:128 μ g/ m L of penicillin sodium and lincomycin,256 μ g / m L of amoxicillin and 1280 μ g / m L of sulfamethoxine sodium. The MBC of lavender pure dew to Escherichia coli is 16 times concentrated solution, equivalent to: 256 μ g / m L penicillin sodium and lincomycin,256 μ g / m L amoxicillin and >1280 μ g / m L sodium sulfamethoxine. The MIC of lavender pure dew against Bacillus filariae was 4 times concentrated solution. The drug resistance of Drosophila bacilli was 32 μ g / m L of penicillin sodium, lincomycin, amoxicillin and 512 μ g / m L sulfamethoxine sodium.Lavender pure dew was 8 times concentrated solution of Bacillus MBC,which was equivalent to 64 μ g / m L of penicillin sodium, lincomycin and amoxicillin and 1280 μ g / m L sulfamethoxine sodium. The MIC of lavender dew against enterococci was 8 times concentrated. The drug resistance of enterococci was 32 μ g / m L of penicillin sodium, lincomycin, amoxicillin and 256 μ g / m L of sulfamethoxine sodium. The MBC of lavender dew against enterococci was 16 times concentrated solution, which was equivalent to 64 μ g / m L penicillin sodium, lincomycin and amoxicillin and 512 μ g / m L sulfamethoxine sodium. The results showed that the 6strains of bacteria had developed resistance to four kinds of antibiotics commonly used in piglet farms, especially to sulfamethoxine sodium, and concentrated lavender dew had a certain inhibitory effect on the 6strains.Conclusion: adding 1% lavender dew to the diet can reduce the diarrhea rate and mortality of weaned piglets, improve the growth performance and feed utilization efficiency of weaned piglets, and enhance the ability of weaned piglets to synthesize protein, metabolize fat, scavenge free radicals and resist disease.the results provide a scientific basis for realizing lavender dew as a green feed additive. |
