Dormancy of weed seeds has brought great difficulties to weed control in the field,in order to find a simple and easy-to-operate method that can effectively improve the control effect of herbicides,In this experiment,the seeds of Setaria glauca from saline-alkali areas were used as experimental materials,and the vigor and dormancy rate of Setaria glauca seeds under different treatments were studied.At the same time,the contents of soluble sugar,protein and proline and the activities of antioxidant enzymes were determined with the buds of Setaria glauca as experimental materials.The results were as follows:1.The germination rate,soluble sugar and proline content of Setaria glauca seeds were decreased after soaking in clear water,alternating dry and wet and aging,and the activities of POD and CAT decreased with the increase of adversity.The dormancy rate of aging seeds increased,and all physiological indexes of seeds decreased.High temperature can promote the germination of Setaria glauca seeds.2.The soluble sugar and proline content and antioxidant enzyme activity of seeds treated with GA3 were higher.The germination rate of Setaria glauca seeds treated with IAA and ETH was low,and the antioxidant enzyme activity was high.The soluble sugar content of IAA treatment is low,and the soluble sugar content of ETH treatment is high.3.The contents of soluble sugar,protein and proline in seeds treated with Na HCO3,Na2CO3and Na Cl can still be kept at a relatively high level;The activity of POD in Na Cl-treated seeds was low,but the activities of CAT and SOD were high,and the activities of antioxidant enzymes in Na HCO3 and Na2CO3-treated seeds were high.Under natural conditions,the seed vigor of Setaria glauca is high,and high temperature can break the dormancy of Setaria glauca seeds and promote their germination.Seed soaking and dry-wet treatment can reduce the germination rate of Setaria glauca seeds,and aging treatment can significantly reduce the seed vigor and increase the dormancy rate.The soluble sugar and proline content and antioxidant enzyme activity of seeds treated with GA3 are higher.When the concentration of Na HCO3,Na2CO3 and Na Cl is low,it has little effect on the germination rate and bud length of Setaria glauca.
