Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On Agricultural Green Total Factor Productivity

At present,under the background of digital economy,China is gradually transitioning from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,and the efficiency of agricultural green development is an important parameter for evaluating agricultural green development.In the critical period of agricultural transformation,it is important to know what is the status of agricultural green total factor productivity in China and whether agricultural green total factor productivity can maintain a steady increase.In view of this,it is important to study the impact of digital economy on agricultural green total factor productivity to help realize the transformation of China’s agricultural economy,effectively transform the agricultural economic growth mode and increase China’s independent innovation capability.This paper firstly combines the theoretical connotation of digital economy and agricultural green total factor productivity,establishes the evaluation system of digital economy indicators from three aspects of digital infrastructure,digital outward competitiveness and digital innovation environment based on the panel data of 29provinces(cities)in China from 2012 to 2020,and establishes the evaluation system of agricultural green total factor productivity indicators from input-output aspects Secondly,we empirically analyzed the effect of digital economy on agricultural green total factor productivity and its mechanism of action.Finally,the results of these analyses are synthesized to draw conclusions and put forward appropriate policy recommendations.The research results show that: firstly,the national digital economy development level is on an upward trend,specifically,the digital economy development level of 29provinces(cities)is on an upward trend year by year,the overall score of 29 provinces(cities)is low,the regional digital economy development level differs significantly,and the digital economy development level of central and western regions is lower than that of eastern regions.Second,from the overall perspective,the overall agricultural green development level of 29 provinces(cities)from 2012 to 2020 shows an upward trend,and Sichuan Province’s agricultural green total factor productivity from 2012 to 2020 is significantly higher than that of other provinces,and the agricultural green total factor productivity development level in even years shows a change pattern of spatially staggered distribution of strengths and weaknesses.Third,on the one hand,digital economy not only has a direct positive driving effect on agricultural green total factor productivity,on the other hand,digital economy can have an indirect effect on agricultural green total factor productivity through industrial structure optimization and technological innovation effect,while the promotion effect of digital economy on agricultural green total factor productivity in central region is stronger than that in eastern and western regions.Finally,synthesizing the above research and analysis results,this paper proposes a series of policy recommendations to improve agricultural green total factor productivity from various aspects,such as making up for the shortcomings of digital infrastructure,strengthening human capital and digital resources investment,and accelerating the development of digital technology innovation.
