| Thrips are the general name of the Insecta Thysanoptera.Grass-living thrips live in grass and feed on flower organs, young leaf tissues, small arthropods or fungi. The study of species diversity has important theoretical and practical significance for the phylogenetic evolution of Thysanoptera, biodiversity conservation and utilization, plant protection and other fields. However, there are few studies on species diversity and seasonal dynamics of grass-living thrips in different ecosystems. In this study, the species and quantity of thrips in three ecosystems(urban, farmland and nature reserve)in Jilin Province were quantitatively investigated by sweep and beat methods. The seasonal dynamics of thrips in Nong ’an area were also investigated, and the data were analyzed by the species diversity index.A total of 3750 specimens belonging to 3 families,22 genera and 45 species were collected from 20 sites in 3years.Thripidae was the most abundant, followed by Aeolothripidae and Phlaeothripidae. The specific findings are as follows:1.The populations and composition of grassy thrips and visiting thrips are different. In the investigation of thrips community composition in Jilin Province, there are 19 species of urban grassy thrips belonging to 12 genera and 3 families,and4 species of visiting thrips belonging to 2 families; There are 18 species of grassy thrips in 3 families,14 genera, and 12 species of visiting flower thrips in the nature reserve; There are 20 species of grassy thrips in 3 families,10 genera, and 1 family,3 genera, and 4 species of visiting thrips in farmland. In total, there are 2284 specimens of herbaceous thrips and 580 specimens of the flower-visiting thrips, including 3 families,10 genera,16 species of visiting thrips and 3 families,20 genera,38 species of grassy thrips.2.There are differences in the diversity of thrips populations in three different habitats in Jilin Province.Based on the analysis of thrips community diversity in three habitats in Jilin Province, the level of species diversity in nature reserves is relatively highest, while that in farmland areas is significantly lower; The richness and dominance index of urban thrips community is the highest, while that of natural reserves is the lowest; The evenness of thrips communities in nature reserves is the highest, while the evenness of cities is the lowest.3.There are significant differences in the seasonal dynamics of thrips populations in different months. The species are most abundant in July(July>September>June>August>May,with 10 species in July). The dominant species composition of thrips varies in different months. The diversity of thrips populations exhibit significant seasonal changes, with individual abundance high in summer and low in spring and autumn.4.Under different land use forms, the number of thrips species is different, and the composition of the dominant species of thrips is also different. In farmland and grassland(N),the dominant species are Haplothrips aculatus and Anaphothrips obscurus. In the mixed grassland(Q),the dominant species of thrips are Thrips obscurus,Sericothrips kaszabi, and Haplothrips aculatus; In the artificial understory grassland(R),the dominant species of thrips are Thrips obscurus and rice simple tube thrips Haplothrips aculatus. This study provides data for biodiversity and pest control and lays the foundation for further control. |
