The Predation Effect Of The Arma Chinensis On The Conogethes Punctiferalis And Its Sensitivity Evaluation To Five Insecticides

Castanea mollissima,as one of the important cash crop in China,was often harmed by the Conogethes punctiferalis.The Arma chinensis was an important predatory natural enemy.In order to clarify the potential of A.chinensis to controled the C.punctiferalis,this experiment studied the predatory preference and functional responsed of A.chinensis to the C.punctiferalis,and evaluated the safety of several commonly used insecticides in chestnut orchard against A.chinensis.The research results were as follows:1.Predation preferenced of 5th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis towards different preyThe predation preferenced of the 5th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis against the pupae of the C.punctiferalis,the 5th instar larvae of the C.punctiferalis,the 4th instar larvae of the Hyphantria cunea,and the 5th instar larvae of the Tenebrio molitor in chestnut orchards were measured.The results showed that the 5th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis preferred to prey on the 5th instar larvae and pupae of the C.punctiferalis.2.The predation function responsed of A.chinensis to C.punctiferalis larvaeThe functional responsed of the 5th instar nymphs and male and female adults of the A.chinensis to the predation of C.punctiferalis at different ages all conformed to the Holling II model.The control ability(a/Th)of the 5th instar nymph and male and female adults of the A.chinensis to the 3rd instar larvae of the C.punctiferalis was as follows: female adults of the A.chinensis >male adults of the A.chinensis >5th instar nymph of the A.chinensis.As the density of the 3rd instar larvae of the C.punctiferalis increases,the search effect of the A.chinensis gradually decreases,and the search effect of the female adult was greater than that of the 5th instar nymph and male adult.The control ability(a/Th)of the 5th instar nymph and male and female adults of the A.chinensis to the 5th instar larvae of the C.punctiferalis was as follows:female adults of the A.chinensis >male adults of the A.chinensis >5th instar nymph of the A.chinensis.As the density of the 5th instar larvae of the C.punctiferalis moth moth increases,the search effect of the A.chinensis gradually decreased,and the search effect of female adults was significantly greater than that of the 5th instar nymph and male adults.The results showed that both the 5th instar nymph and male and female adults of the A.chinensis had control potential against the C.punctiferalis,and the control potential of the female adult of the A.chinensis was greater than that of the male adult and greater than that of the 5th instar nymph.3.Evaluation of the sensitivity of the A.chinensis to five commonly used insecticides in chestnut orchardsThe sensitivity of 5th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis to five commonly uesd insecticides in chestnut orchards varies significantly.Beta cypermethrin belonged to the category of high-risk pesticide,and at 48 and 72 hours,it has extremely high toxicity to both 5th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis,with lower safety.Among the medium risk pesticide,imidacloprid has high toxicity to the5 th instar nymphs and adults of the A.chinensis at 48 and 72 hours,but its safety was lowed,significantly lower than the other three types.For the 5th instar nymph of the A.chinensis,the sensitivity of chlorbenzuron was higher than that of chlorantraniliprole and higher than that of avermectins at 48 and 72 hours.For adults of the A.chinensis,at 48 and 72 hours,the sensitivity of avermectin was higher than that of chlorbenzuron and higher than that of chlorantraniliprole.
