| China is a large country of chestnut production, with the rapid expansion of the chestnut industry, chestnut by-products such as chestnut canopies, chestnut branches, chestnut shells have gradually increased,by-products can not be timely and reasonable treatment and utilization, will cause great waste of resources and environmental pollution. The larvae of Protaetia brevitarsis(Lewis)have anti-tumor,hepatoprotective,antibacterial and other medicinal values, and the larval protein content reaches 49.9%,which can be used as high-quality animal-derived protein feed. Therefore, how to efficiently utilize chestnut by-products is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. The use of chestnut by-products to feed the P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae not only reduces feed costs, but also improves the utilization value of chestnut by-products.In this experiment, the larvae of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)were used to treat chestnut canopies, chestnut branches and chestnut shells with different water content, and the optimal water content was screened.Chestnut canopies, chestnut branches, and chestnut shells were fermented for different days, and the best fermentation days were screened out.Chestnut canopies, chestnut branches are compounded with different by-products to select the best combination. The test results are as follows:1.The larvae of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)fed with 50% water content chestnut canopies were significantly wider and weighed significantly higher than 30% water content(P<0.05),and the dry weight of larvae was significantly higher than that of other treatments(P<0.05).The larvae of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)fed with 50%~70%water content chestnut canopies had the heaviest fecal weight and the highest survival rate; The water content is 60%~70%,and the feed utilization rate is the highest. When feeding chestnut branches with different water content, the head width of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae with a water content of 60%~70% was the widest, and the survival rate and feed utilization rate were the highest. When fed with chestnut shells with 60% water content, the body length of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae was significantly higher than that of 30% water content(P<0.05),and the larvae of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)were the heaviest in feces. The optimal water content range of chestnut canopies were 50%~70%,the optimal water content range of chestnut branches were 60%~70%,and the optimal water content of chestnut shells were 60%.2.The body width, head width, dry weight and survival rate of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae fed with chestnut canopies fermented for 10 days were significantly higher than those of the control treatment(P<0.05).Chestnut branches fermented for20 days could significantly promote the increase of body length, body width, body weight, manure weight and dry weight of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae, and significantly improve feed utilization. The chestnut shells fermented for 15 days had a promoting effect on the body length and body width of P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae, and the weight and dry weight of the larvae were the heaviest.Fermentation of 10 d chestnut shells were beneficial to the survival rate and feed utilization rate of P.brevitarsis(Lewis).The best fermentation days for feeding chestnut canopies were10 d,the best fermentation days for chestnut branches were 20 d,and the best fermentation days for chestnut shells were 10d~15d.3.The chestnut canopies and four auxiliary materials were used to feed the P.brevitarsis(Lewis)larvae, and the suitable auxiliary material order was corn stover, shiitake mushroom bran and wheat straw.Chestnut branches and peanut by-products are fed in combination, and the best feed combination is chestnut branches and peanut meal. |
