Study On The Adaptability Of Rice Varieties In Different Ecological Areas In Dangyang City

Rice is one of the most important food crops in the world.The yield of hybrid rice is directly related to food safety of our country.Rice has a large planting area and have high economic value in China.It’s a great value to improve the yield of rice.Dangyang city in Hubei Province is a city dominated by agriculture.Increasing rice yield is very important to develop agricultural and Rural Revitalization in Dangyang.In this study,we have chosen 10 varieties of rice,which has large local planting area and planted in different rice ecological areas,such as plain,hill and low mountain in Dangyang city to test the adaptability of each rice in different ecological areas.The yield difference and stress resistance were also compared in this study to provide reference for farmers to choose seeds of rice reasonably,to provide real and rich data for Dangyang rice industry chain.The results are as follows:(1)Different regions and soil environments have certain effects on the growth of rice.The sowing time of 10 rice varieties was 91.2-100.4 days;The time from full heading to maturity was 44.0-49.6 days;The whole growth period was 124.8-135.6days.(2)Plain rice area:Six varieties,including Quanyou 727,Quanyou Huazhan,Longliangyou 1234,Quanliang Yousimiao,Y Liangyou 957 and Jingliangyou 266,have good ecological adaptability and are suitable for planting.Among them,the yield of Wangliangyou 950,Quanliangyou Simiao,Quanliangyou 957 and Quanyouhua is relatively higher,the yield of Wangliangyou 950 is 13350 kg/hm~2,the yield of Quanyou Simiao is 12855 kg/hm~2,the yield of Quanliangyou Simiao is 12630 kg/hm~2,the yield of Y Liangyou 957 is 12202 kg/hm~2and the yield of Quanyouhua is 11367 kg/hm~2.Ganyou 735 and Quanyou Huazhan have higher plant height,which is 126.2cm in Ganyou 735 and 121.2cm in Quanyou Huazhan;Yunliangyou 332 has a lower seed setting rate in plain rice area,with a specific seed setting rate of 67.9%,and doesn’t grow well in high temperature in plain rice area.(3)Hilly rice area:Nine varieties,including Quanyou 727,Quanyou Huazhan,Longliangyou 1234,Quanliangyou Simiao,Y Liangyou 957,Jingliangyou 266,Ganyou735,Quanyou Simiao and Yunliangyou 332,have good ecological adaptability and are suitable for planing.Among them,the yield of Ganyou 735,Jingliangyou 266 and Quanyou Simiao is relatively higher.Wangliangyou 950 has poor blast resistance and high risk to plant.(4)Low mountain rice area:Seven varieties,including Quanyou 727,Quanyou Huazhan,Longliangyou 1234,Quanliangyou Simiao,Jingliangyou 266,Ganyou 735and Quanyou Simiao,have good ecological adaptability and are suitable for planting.The yields of Jingliangyou 266,Quanyou Huazhan and Longliangyou 1234 are relatively higher.The yields of Jingliangyou 266,Quanyou Huazhan and Longliangyou1234 are 10809 kg/hm~2,10760 kg/hm~2and 10578 kg/hm~2.The growth period of Yunliangyou 332 and Y Liangyou 957 is longer,the growth period of Yunliangyou 332and Y Liangyou 957 is 133.0±7.78 days and 135.6±8.71 days.Wangliangyou 950 has poor blast resistance,so it’s not suitable for planting in low mountain areas.In this study,we have chosen 10 varieties of rice,which has large local planting area and planted in different rice ecological areas,such as plain,hill and low mountain in Dangyang city to test the adaptability of each rice in different ecological areas.The result show that:FIve varieties,including Quanyou 727,Quanyou Huazhan,Longliangyou 1234,Quanliang Yousimiao,Y Liangyou 957 and Jingliangyou 266,have good ecological adaptability and are suitable for planting.Yunliangyou 332 has a lower seed setting rate in plain rice area and doesn’t grow well in high temperature in plain rice area.Wangliangyou 950 has poor blast resistance,so it’s not suitable for planting in hilly and low mountain areas.The rice quality of Quanyousimiao,Quanliangyousimiao and Jingliangyou 266 were relatively good,which were suitable for planting and spreading in dangyang local and similar ecological areas.
