In view of the problems such as the mutton output of Xinjiang mutton industry cannot meet the market demand,the construction of improved breed breeding system of mutton sheep lags behind,and the informatization progress of mutton industry is slow,this study used Python language and Django framework,combined with modern animal genetic evaluation technology,and used rpy2 as the interface to call sommer package of R language to calculate the breeding value of individual sheep.To establish a meat sheep genetic evaluation system with sheep farm information management and meat sheep genetic evaluation as the main function,to help small and medium-sized sheep farms in Xinjiang to build nucleus breeding groups and breeding database,to provide technical support for Xinjiang meat sheep industry to continuously breed excellent meat sheep varieties and realize high-quality development of meat sheep industry.The mutton sheep genetic evaluation system consists of user management module,sheep farm information management module and genetic evaluation module.All model tables of the system are equipped with log type fields to record the creation and modification of each piece of data and time,ensuring the reliability of data.The user management module manages employee rights by setting three roles: administrator,technician and breeder.Each position in the sheep farm can upload the collected data in time to ensure real-time data.The sheep farm manager gives the corresponding operation authority to the employees according to their positions in the system,which ensures the security of the sheep farm information.The sheep farm information management module is divided into 12 sub-modules,and sets the data processing methods of adding,deleting,checking and modifying,importing and exporting in batches and printing,providing a systematic and efficient information management platform for each production link of the sheep farm.Field management,enclosure management,group management,feed management,drug management and epidemic prevention management are used to coordinate sheep farm information and assist sheep farm managers to make follow-up work arrangements.Sheep management,pedigree management,performance measurement,stud record,breeding management and breeding value table are used to collect sheep information from six aspects,namely basic information,pedigree,phenotypic traits,stud,lambing and breeding value,to ensure the integrity of sheep information.The sheep farm information management module provides a complete and reliable data base for the genetic evaluation function.Mutton sheep genetic evaluation system of genetic evaluation function set up 12 phenotypic traits,6should be considered fixed effects and operation model,two kinds of breeding value by more table in sheep,family management and performance measurement three child module called to calculate the required data,can be located in different area,housing,group of sheep integrated together is used to estimate individual breeding values.The sheep farm manager can quickly identify sheep population through the three-layer association foreign key of the field circle group,and conduct gender and breed screening again on the basis of this population.The calculation results of breeding values are automatically generated in XLSX format and automatically uploaded to the sub-module of breeding value table for preservation.The real data provided by our research group were used to test the genetic evaluation function of the system.Test results showed that considering the same fixed effect and using the same operation model,the breeding values of birth weight and weaning weight of 1894 Hu sheep were calculated by the this system and DMU software through the single-character animal model and multi-character animal model respectively,and the breeding values were basically consistent.
