Research On Non-Timber Forest-Based Economic Development Planning Based On Single-Objective Planning

The development of non-timber forest-based economy is an eco-friendly economy based on the principle of ecological priority and sustainable management,relying on forests,woodlands and their ecological environment,and carrying out compound management under forests to improve the utilization rate of forest land.Including in-forest planting,in-forest raising,non-timber forest-based products gathering,and forest landscape utilization.The development of the non-timber forest-based economy plays a very important role in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation,increasing farmers’ income,consolidating the reform of the collective forest tenure system,ecological construction,and promoting rural revitalization.This study selects Liping County,Guizhou Province as the research object,on the basis of theoretical research on ecological economy,sustainable development and forestry modernization,combined with field research to obtain basic data information,the SWOT analysis method was applied to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats for the development of forest economy in Liping County.Combining with the current situation of natural resources available for the forest economy in Liping County,we explore the best forest economy development model in Liping County by applying the single-objective planning method,and complete the master plan for non-timber forest-based economy development in Liping County,Guizhou Province.The main research results are as follows:(1)Through the data collection and field survey on the development status of non-timber forest-based economy in Liping County,we elaborate the development status and current scale of in-forest planting,in-forest raising,non-timber forest-based products gathering,and forest landscape utilization mode;and conduct SWOT analysis on the development of non-timber forest-based economy,and discuss the advantages and main problems of non-timber forest-based economy in Liping County.(2)Surveyed and counted the current resource status of forested land available for non-timber forest-based economy in the county with slope below 35°,limestone mountain land available,national reserve forest construction available,and nature conservation land available,and analyzed the non-timber forest-based economy model suitable for the development of each forested land.(3)Based on available natural resource statistics,the single-objective planning method is used to calculate and obtain the optimal results of the main development modes of non-timber forest-based economy and their scales in Liping County with the aim of maximizing the benefits of land for non-timber forest-based economy development.Including 3,600.00 hectares of rhioma gastrodiae,3,700.00 hectares of rhizoma polygonati,1,850.00 hectares of ganoderma,1,750.00 hectares of epimedium,3,600.00 hectares of poria cocos,4,544.12 hectares of gambir plant,600.00 hectares of dendrobium,The planting area of dictyophora indusiata is 718.63 hectares,the square bamboo shoots planting area is 1437.25 hectares,and the tea planting area is 200.00 hectares;the under-forest chicken breeding area is 1,000.00 hectares,the cattle breeding area is 2,250.00 hectares,and the bee-breeding area is 3,250.00 hectares;the bamboo shoots collection area under the forest is 6,503.32 hectares,The bracken collection area is 50,000.00 hectares,and the turpentine collection area is 18,496.68 hectares.(4)Based on the calculation results,combined with the preliminary field survey and data analysis,the planning scheme for the development of non-timber forest-based economy in Liping County was constructed.The research revolves around the concept of ecological priority and green sustainable development,It clarified its guiding ideology,planning principles and development goals,put forward the overall layout idea of "six districts,multiple parks,and multiple belts",The non-timber forest-based economic development area of Liping County is divided into:the forest source Chinese medicinal material planting area in the northwest,the forest health care experience area in the north,the in-forest planting and breeding processing trade area in the central area,the forest bee culture area in the east,the forest fungus planting area in the southwest,and the southwest forest planting area.Chinese herbal medicine planting area.It constructs a development system that focuses on developing in-forest planting,supplemented by in-forest raising,non-timber forest-based products gathering and forest landscape utilization,and puts forward the industrial trend of non-timber forest-based economy development in Liping County.(5)The planning strategy of the forest recreation base in Dongfeng Forestry was proposed,with special design in terms of functional zoning,road system planning,and service facility planning,where the functional zoning is divided into four areas:forest ecological tour area,forest recreation and recuperation area,forest nature education area,and forest quality expansion area.(6)In view of the problems in the development of the forest economy in Liping County,it is proposed to focus on ecological environmental protection,pay attention to the cultivation of non-timber forest-based economy business subjects,promote the construction of non-timber forest-based economy demonstration projects,make efforts to create a special brand of non-timber forest-based economy,focus on training professional personnel team,and build forest rare mushroom conservation area and forest quality seedling(fungus)cultivation base,and other recommendations to promote the effective development of non-timber forest-based economy.
