Cultivated land is the basic material condition for human survival and development.Cultivated land quality is closely related to food security.At present,the cultivated land utilization system is facing many pressures and crises,such as ungrain cultivated land,fragmentation of cultivated land,extensive utilization of cultivated land resources,insufficient supply,environmental pollution,and so on.The sustainable development of cultivated land is facing severe challenges.In this study,the cultivated land use system was combined with the concept of toughness to construct an evaluation index system of resource toughness,ecological toughness,production toughness and morphological toughness.Taking the county level as the evaluation unit,the entropy-mutation series method and spatial autocorrelation model were used to evaluate the toughness of cultivated land use system in Guangxi from2005 to 2020 and analyze its spatial distribution characteristics.The influencing factors of the cultivated land use system toughness were selected from the natural,economic and social aspects.OLS model and GWR model were used to analyze the influencing degree of the influencing factors on the toughness level of the cultivated land use system in Guangxi.Finally,according to the research results,countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to improve the toughness level of the cultivated land use system in Guangxi.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)From the perspective of time,the change of toughness level of cultivated land use system in Guangxi from 2005 to 2020 showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,and the change characteristics of each subsystem were consistent with that of cultivated land use system.From the perspective of space,the toughness of cultivated land use system in more than 60% of districts and counties in Guangxi is below the medium toughness level,and the toughness level of cultivated land use system presents obvious spatial differentiation characteristics,and there is a spatial agglomeration effect.(2)OLS model and GWR model were used to identify the main factors affecting the toughness of the cultivated land use system,including the proportion of agricultural financial expenditure,the degradation rate of cultivated land,the total output value of agriculture,forestry,husbandry and fishery per unit area,the proportion of cultivated land area,the per capita cultivated land area,the proportion of the output value of the tertiary industry,the per capita GDP,the per capita net income of farmers and the fixed assets investment.The performance and fitting degree of GWR model are better than OLS model,so this model is more suitable for the study of influencing factors of farmland utilization system toughness.(3)According to the evaluation of the toughness of cultivated land use system in Guangxi and the research results of the influencing factors,the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward.It mainly includes accelerating the transformation and development speed of the cultivated land use system,increasing the structural cohesion of the internal elements of the cultivated land use system,improving the exogenous power of the cultivated land use system,improving the response speed of the cultivated land toughness to resist the pressure,adapting to local conditions and improving the toughness of the cultivated land use system on multiple scales,and exploring the key points and ways to improve the toughness according to the actual situation of different regions.
