In this study, the effects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, lactic acid bacteria and Saccharomyces cerevisiae+lactic acid bacteria on the sensory quality and nutritional composition of corn stover after fermentation of corn stover were first explored, and secondly, the effects of adding different treatments to corn stover to the diet on the fermentation parameters, digestive enzyme activity, digestive metabolism and growth performance of Tan sheep were explored through feeding experiment and digestive metabolism test.In the feeding experiment,40 three-month-old Tan sheep males with a similar weight(average of about 26 kg)and healthy and disease-free were randomly divided into 4 groups of 10 lambs in each group. All groups adopted the same feeding management level,in which the control group was fed basal diet+untreated corn stalks, the test Ⅰ group was fed basal diet+Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermented corn stalks, the test Ⅱ group was fed basal diet+lactic acid bacteria fermented corn stalks, and the test Ⅲ group was fed basal diet+Saccharomyces cerevisiae+lactic acid bacteria(referred to as compound bacteria)fermented corn stalks. The trial prefeed period was 10 days and the trial period was 75 days, and the main results were as follows:1.The three treatments can improve the sensory quality of corn straw, increase the content of EE and CP in corn straw, and have a certain degradation effect on NDF and ADF.Among them, the content of CP in Saccharomyces cerevisiae group and compound bacteria group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01).2.At the end of the feeding trial, the rumen fluid MCP in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and reached a very significant level(P<0.01).The ammonia nitrogen test group was lower than the control group, and the compound bacteria group and the lactic acid bacteria group reached a significant level compared with the control group(P<0.05).The concentration of acetic acid, propionic acid and butyric acid in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the concentration of acetic acid and butyric acid in the compound bacteria group was significantly(P<0.05)higher than that in the control group. The pH of rumen fluid in each group was in the normal range, and the lactic acid bacteria group was significantly(P<0.01)lower than the control group. The activities of amylase, cellulase, lipase and pectinase in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. At the end of the experiment, the activities of cellulase, lipase and pectinase in the compound bacteria group were significantly(P<0.05)higher than those in the control group.3.After adding corn straw treated by Saccharomyces cerevisiae and lactic acid bacteria to the diet, the apparent digestibility of DM in the experimental group was significantly(P<0.01)higher than that in the control group, and the compound bacteria group was the best. The CP apparent digestibility complex group(P<0.01)was significantly higher than that between the control group and the Saccharomyces cerevisiae group, but there was no significant difference with the lactic acid bacteria group(P>0.05).The apparent digestibility of EE,NDF and ADF in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).The fecal nitrogen, urinary nitrogen and total nitrogen excretion in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05),among which the compound bacteria group was the lowest and the control group was the highest. The digestible nitrogen compound bacteria group was significantly(P<0.05)higher than the control group, and the nitrogen deposition, nitrogen utilization rate and biological value test group were higher than the control group. The compound bacteria group had the best effect, followed by the lactic acid bacteria group, the Saccharomyces cerevisiae group and the control group. The daily gain of the compound bacteria group was significantly(P<0.05)higher than that of the control group and the Saccharomyces cerevisiae group, but there was no significant difference between the compound bacteria group and the Lactobacillus group(P>0.05).The feed weight ratio of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group.Compared with the control group, the Saccharomyces cerevisiae group, the lactic acid bacteria group and the compound bacteria group decreased by 9.28%,10.55%and 22.05%,respectively(P>0.05).Pure profit brewing compound bacteria group>lactic acid bacteria group>Saccharomyces cerevisiae group>control group. In summary, the use of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and lactic acid bacteria to ferment corn straw can effectively improve the quality of corn straw, improve the growth performance, rumen digestive enzyme activity and dry matter digestibility of Tan sheep, and reduce the feed weight ratio and nitrogen emission.Under the dietary conditions of this study, the compound bacteria group showed the best performance.
