In the management of Salix psommophila,stubble is an important management measure.Reasonable stubble method is important to the scientific and reasonable management of Salix psommophila.The study put Salix psommophila plantation in Dalad Clay Beam forest farm as the research object,aiming at the management needs of non-commercial forest,carbon sink forest and the production needs of one-year branch material forest,in order to analyze the dynamic changes of the growth and carbon sink function of Salix psommophila plantation after the flat stubble,the experiments were the stubble height of 0 cm,5 cm,10 cm,15 cm interval and the continuous stubble height of 0cm.The resulte indicate that:(1)Under different stubble heights,the average values of plant height,diameter and numbers of sprout of Salix psommophila,reached the highest value when the stubble hight was 0cm,except basal diameter.The stubble height had significant effect on the plant height,diameter and numbers of sprout.The best growth of Salix psommophila was at the level of 0 cm.(2)Under different stubble heights,the carbon of Salix psommophila grown for 1-6years after flat stubble increased with the increase of growing time.The carbon is the best at 4-6 years,when the height of flat stubble is 0cm.So,for the purpose of carbon sink capacity,the suitable stubble height is 0 cm,the best interval is 4-6 years.(3)Continuous annual stubble had negative effect on the growth of Salix psommophila,and it was more obvious from the 4th year.Continuous annual stubble resulted in short plants,slender branches and increased dead branch rate.And resulted in the weakening of carbon sink function of Salix psommophila.(4)Analysis based on local precipitation,less than 400 mm did not promote Salix psammophila in the declining stage.The growth indicators of Salix psommophila,such as diameter,number of branches and number of live branches,were promoted by the rare precipitation above 400 mm.And the growth state of Salix psommophila could be improved.However,the precipitation can not be used as the basis for determining the flat stubble period.(5)In the management of non-commercial forest and carbon sink forest,the suitable stubble height is 0cm and the interval is 4-6 years.In the production of the production needs of one-year branch material forest,the suitable stubble height is 0cm and the most continuous stubble is 3 year.And Continuous stubble combined with interval stubble can better maintain forest stability.
