Family Cynipidae(Hymenoptera:Cynipoidea)is one of the main groups of gall-forming insects. There are about 1400 species in 12 tribes and 72 genera known in the world. They can lay eggs on plants and induce the host.Plant tissue swells to form galls, which intercept the larvae in the galls that supply nutrients to the host, making the host plants unable to grow and develop normally. For example,Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu, has been listed as a major international quarantine pest.Due to the small individuals of gall wasps, the difficulty of collecting specimens, and the large differences in the same species in different generations,it is difficult to study the classification of gall wasps.Family Fagaceae is important forest tree in subtropical and temperate regions, which has high economic value, ecological value and geological and historical value.Fagaceae is also one of the main host plants of gall wasp.Fagaceae are distributed all over China, but the horizontal distribution is not balanced. The resources of Fagaceae are relatively abundant in Southwest China, and the most species of Fagaceae are in Yunnan. The survey of gall wasp resources is very scarce, only 15 species from 7 genera have been recorded. In this study, the gall wasps on Fagaceae plants in southwestern China were collected and classified.21 species of gall wasps collected from 6 host plants, with 13 species described before.A total of 34 species were recorded in 12 genera.Inculude 1 Chinese new record genus: Trigonaspis Hartig,1840,5Chinese new record species: Cerroneuroterus vonkuenburgi Ashmead,1904;Saphonecrus leleyi Melika and Schwéger,2015 Synergus abei Melika and Schwéger,2015;Synergus ishikarii Melika and Schwéger,2015;Ufo nipponicus Melika,2012,5 new species: Heocynips sichuanensis sp.nov.;Heocynips trapeziformia sp.nov.;Heocynips liaoi sp.nov.;Trigonaspis chongqingensis sp.nov.;Trigonaspis sichuanensis sp.nov..This study provides new host plant information, and provides materials for the study of the world’s gall wasp flora taxonomy. These genera and species are described in detail in this paper, and the host plants, identification characteristics, distribution and other information are listed. The key was prepared and pictures were attached to the appendix.
