Research On Risk Perception Of Tea Farmers To Tea Green Leafhopper Disaster

Tea production in Fujian province ranks the top in China and tea industry is an important driving force of economic development in Fujian.However,in the development process of tea industry,the threat of pests and diseases has been a constraint factor affecting its development.The tea green leafhopper is one of the most harmful pests in tea gardens.When the outbreak is serious,it will lead to the decline of tea yield and quality,bring about great economic losses,and cause anxiety,worry,other emotions and reactions of tea farmers.The outbreak of tea green leafhopper is a risk event for tea farmers,the risk perception of tea farmers to tea green leafhopper disaster will affect their prevention and control behavior imperceptiblily,and then affect the prevention and control effect.Therefore,it is necessary to study the risk perception of tea farmers,understand the risk perception of tea farmers,explore the influencing factors of tea farmers’ disaster risk perception of tea green leafhopper,and guide them to form a reasonable risk perception,enhance the ability of tea farmers to deal with risks,so as to prevent and control tea green leafhopper reasonably and effectively,and promote safe and high-quality production of tea.At the same time,the scope of current and future potential tea green leafhopper risk areas is predicted to understand its distribution and reveal its diffusion risk,it provides guidance for the monitoring,early warning and prevention and control of tea green leafhopper,and maintain tea farmers’ risk perception at a reasonable level from the technical level,and provides guidance for the government to formulate comprehensive risk prevention strategies for tea green leafhopper disaster.Based on this,this study based on the existing research results and theory,relying on the theory of risk perception,with tea green leafhopper disaster risk as the breakthrough point,to choose tea farmers in parts of Fujian province as the research object,by using the theory of “risk factors– perception” analysis framework,empirical analysis and hypothesis testing,the study of risk perception of tea farmers,explore its influencing factors,Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)According to the risk prediction of tea green leafhopper,tea green leafhopper is widely distributed in China,and Fujian province is a high risk area for tea green leafhopper at present and in the future with a wide distribution range.(2)Tea farmers’ risk perception of tea green leafhopper disaster was above medium level,and tea farmers scored the highest in risk severity and controllability perception.(3)Through independent sample Ttest and one-way Anova,the difference analysis of tea farmers’ risk perception is conducted.The results show that tea farmers’ age,education level,disaster experience,tea planting area,and the proportion of tea income in total family income have a significant impact on tea farmers’ risk perception.However,gender,tea planting years and the number of people engaged in tea production and management in the family have no significant impact on risk perception.(4)Stratified linear regression analysis showed that risk familiarity,sense of control,closeness,acceptance and government trust all had significant effects on risk perception.Risk closeness positively affected tea farmers’ risk perception,while risk familiarity,sense of control,acceptance and government trust all negatively affected tea farmers’ risk perception.Comprehensive the above analysis,from improving the government tea green leafhopper disaster response capacity and credibility,and strengthen the tea farmers risk prevention ability two aspects put forward countermeasures and suggestions,in order to pass control of tea green leafhoppers and tea farmers risk prevention psychological two aspects to promote the combination of tea farmers risk prevention ability,make the tea farmers to take reasonable measures to reduce the tea green leafhopper disaster losses,it will promote safe and high-quality production of tea.
