Soil salinization seriously affects the ecological environment.The Songnun Plain is an important natural pasture and livestock production base in China,and also one of the three major sodic saline soil concentration areas in the world.In the saline grassland areas of western Jilin,there is often both salinization and alkalinization in the soil,and its ecological damage is greater than that of single salinization.Therefore,how to utilize and develop hundreds of millions of acres of saline soils have become an important task for ecological development and agricultural production in China.Based on the actual situation of mixed saline soils in western Jilin,14 legume forage Galega orientalises(Galega orientalis Lam.)germplasm resources were used as materials to improve their germination characteristics by screening seed hardening and breaking methods;seedlings were treated with mixed saline stress and their resistance was comprehensively analyzed using physiological and biochemical indicators;after transplanting to large fields,the single plant of various quality materials was After transplanting in the field,the yield and quality traits of each germplasm were evaluated to select the germplasm with excellent resistance and agronomic traits.The results of the study are as follows.(1)The best results were achieved by grinding the seed coat,with germination rate and germination potential of more than 90 %.The best effect under hot water treatment were at the starting temperature of 85°C,with 31.67 % germination rate,27.67 % germination potential and 69 %hardness,respectively.The most significant effect was achieved at 30 minutes of concentrated sulfuric acid treatment,with 56.33 % germination rate and 50.67 % germination potential.The effect of potassium permanganate treatment for 1 h-6 h was not significant in breaking seed hardness.(2)Fourteen germplasm materials were treated with simulated saline stress under laboratory conditions,and the average affiliation function values of malondialdehyde,peroxidase,proline,soluble sugar and soluble protein of each material were analyzed and ranked comprehensively,among which No.3,No.1 and No.4 had the highest average affiliation function values and their salinity tolerance was the strongest,while No.5,No.8 and No.9 had lower average affiliation function values,indicating poor salinity tolerance.(3)Seedlings with high resistance to stress were selected at the seedling stage and transplanted to the outdoor saline field,and their single plant yield traits and quality traits were measured.The results showed that the cluster analysis ranking of single plant yield traits in the Ⅰ group included 13,14,10,5,4 and other materials in total,and the plant height,fresh grass yield and hay yield of this group were higher.The quality trait clustering ranking of materials such as No.4,No.14,No.10 and No.11,this taxon had low crude ash and crude fiber content and good overall performance.The materials 4,13,10 and 14 were selected as the materials with strong comprehensive salinity tolerance by affiliation function for the determination of physiological indexes and agronomic traits,and can be used as salinity tolerant germplasm resources for the next research.
