The purpose of this paper is to study of Rosemary Extract(RE)on milk performance, milk quality, blood biochemical, serum antioxidant, serum immunity and blood cell indexes of dairy goats, and to provide theory basis for the application of Rosemary Extract(RE)on dairy goats. This study selected 24 Xinongsaneng dairy goats with similar lambing period, lactation period and daily milk yield(1.58±0.30 kg/d),respectively.randomly divided into 2 groups, each group of 12 dairy goats.control group was fed the basic diet, and the experimental group added 2.14 g/kg rosemary extract to the basic diet.pre-feeding for 10 days and the official period is 42 days. The test results show that:1)Compared with the control group, the average dry matter intake, milk yield and milk to feed ratio in RE group were increased, but there were no significant differences(P>0.05).2)The number of somatic cells in RE group was significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the lactose rate was significantly increased(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in milk fat percentage, milk protein percentage, dry matter, total dry matter and urea nitrogen indexes among all groups(P>0.05).3)The supplementation of rosemary extract had no significant effect on amino acids in milk of dairy goats(P>0.05).Milk content of nutmeg oleic acid in RE group at day 21 was significantly decreased(P<0.01),palmitoleic acid content was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and octadecanoic acid content was significantly increased(P<0.05);After42 days, the contents of butyric acid and caproic acid in milk were significantly increased(P<0.05),the content of nutmeg oleic acid was extremely significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the content of palmitic oleic acid was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Rosemary extract increased three kinds of active proteins in milk of dairy goats, and β-lactoglobulin content in milk at 21 days had no significant difference(P<0.05),but β-lactoglobulin content in milk at 42 days in RE group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The milk α-lactoalbumin content in RE group day 21 and day 42 was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01).Lactoferrin in RE group was extremely significantly higher than that in control group at day 21(P<0.01),and significantly higher than that in control group at day 42(P<0.05).4)The activity of GSH-Px in serum of dairy goats in RE group at 21 days and 42 days was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01);The serum T-AOC had a tendency to increase at 42 days(0.05<P<0.1).There were no significant differences in MDA and T-SOD levels in serum of dairy goats(P>0.05).5)Immunoglobulin Ig A and Ig M in RE group at day 21 were significantly increased(P<0.05),and immunoglobulin Ig A and Ig M in RE group at day 42 were significantly decreased(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the contents of Ig G,TNF-α,IL-2,IL-4,IL-6 and IL-8 in serum among all groups(P>0.05).In RE group, the number of neutrophils was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the number of lymphocytes had a tendency to decrease(0.05<P<0.1).There were no significant differences in the number of white blood cells, monocytes and red blood cells(P>0.05).To sum up,Rosemary extract was added to the dairy goats diet improve the quality of goat milk improve the antioxidant capacity of serum of dairy goats,short-term addition can improve the immune function of dairy goats, but with the increase of feeding time,it has a certain inhibitory effect on the immune function of dairy goats.
