The Characteristics Of Forest Resources And Path Of Forest City Construction In Ningxiang,Hunan

As a major measure to improve ecological environment and build ecological civilization,forest city construction has attracted more and more attention.In this paper,according to the basic logic of "problem identification--problem analysis--problem solving",we use the methods of literature review,field research and SWOT analysis to analyze the characteristics of forest resources in Ningxiang City and propose a forest city construction path for Ningxiang City.By analyzing the characteristics of forest resources in Ningxiang City and comparing with the evaluation index system of forest cities in Hunan Province,we propose the path of forest city construction,which will provide guidance for Ningxiang to build a forest city and also provide reference for other cities to create a forest city.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)With a forest coverage rate of 42.35%,Ningxiang City is relatively rich in forest resources,which provides a good foundation for the construction of a forest city.With 5.77%of forest land available for afforestation,the forest cover still has some degree of room for improvement.The proportion of economic forests and special-purpose forests is relatively small.The proportion of special-purpose forests such as forest parks,ecological country parks and forest culture education bases should be gradually expanded.The storage volume per unit area of tree forests is low,and the productivity of forest land is low;the age structure is unreasonable,with young and middle-aged forests predominating,and the task of forest resource management and cultivation is difficult.The forest thickness is 1.64mm and the ecological level is poor.(2)SWOT analysis of the construction of forest city in Ningxiang.Ningxiang has superior natural geographical conditions,rich historical and cultural heritage,a relatively complete forest protection system,and a large potential for the development of ecological industries,but at the same time there are problems such as uneven distribution of urban forests,low quality of forest resources,and poor quality of ecological environment.The rapid development of domestic forest cities,the high importance attached by the central party and the development of the tide of ecological civilization,and the positive demonstration of the effectiveness of the neighboring cities in creating a forest city bring great opportunities to Ningxiang,but also face the challenges of spatial restrictions on the development of urban forests,land use restrictions,and environmental conditions brought about by high industrialization.(3)According to Hunan Province local standard "Forest City Evaluation Index"(DB43/T 1315-2017),the analysis and evaluation of the current situation of forest city construction in Ningxiang City,Ningxiang City has met 9 standards,6 standards are not met,and 13 standards are to be built(relevant indicators in the process of creation),of which the 6 standards are not met are municipal forest coverage rate,urban greening coverage rate,per capita park Green space area,leisure and recreation green space construction,village greening and waterfront greening.(4)In view of the actual situation of Ningxiang City,the overall layout of Ningxiang City Forest City is innovatively proposed as "one core,two belts,four districts and multiple points".The forest city construction is carried out in five aspects:urban forest network,urban forest health,urban forestry economy,urban ecological culture and urban forest management,and a stable forest city ecological system will be formed in ten years from 2019 to 2028.
