| As a new form of flower application in my country, flower borders play an irreplaceable role in garden construction. The current flower borders have problems such as single plant materials, serious landscape homogeneity, and lack of regional characteristics. The flower border plants with regional characteristics need to be explored. As an important germplasm resource, wild perennial flowers are of great significance to enriching the species of flower border plants and creating regional characteristic flower border landscapes.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign flower border landscape development and the application of wild perennial flowers, this study adopts methods such as field investigation, analytic hierarchy process, planning and design, etc. The three nature reserves in the southern part of Taihang Mountain and the forest area around Zhanghe Village were used as survey areas to investigate and conduct a diversity analysis of wild perennial flower resources, determine the principles of selection of flower border plants, and build a comprehensive evaluation system, and evaluate them.Apply wild perennial flowers to actual flower border design schemes, and explore the feasibility of applying wild perennial flower in flower borders. The main results are as follows:This study conducted an investigation and a diversity analysis of wild plant resources in the three nature reserves in the southern part of Taihang Mountain and the forest area around Zhanghe Village, and recorded the growth status and checked literature. This study screened out 91 species of perennial flowers with high ornamental value and potential for development and utilization, belongs to 25 families and 77 genera.Among them, the larger proportion are Compositae,Liliaceae,Ranunculaceae,Caryophyllaceae and Scrophulariaceae, etc. This study also analyzes from the perspectives of plant height, color and viewing period. The analytic hierarchy process was used to comprehensively evaluate the application value of 91 wild perennial flowers in the flower border landscape.Three factors related to the development and utilization of wild perennial flowers, including ornamental, adaptability and resource application potential, and there were selected as the constraint layer.20 representative factors such as group flowering period and flower color are used as evaluation indicators to construct a comprehensive evaluation model for the application of wild perennial flowers to the flower border landscape. The wild perennial flowers under research were divided into 4 grades based on the comprehensive scores from the evaluation model.Thirty one plant species were selected into grade I(>3.7 points, high comprehensive appraisal),they can be used first in the flower border;twenty eight plants in grade II(3.4~3.7 points, higher comprehensive appraisal),they can be selected appropriately;twenty plants in grade III(3.1~3.4points,general comprehensive appraisal),they can be used on a small scale;twelve plants into IV(<3.1points,lower comprehensive appraisal),they are generally not recommended.Taking Zhanghe Forest Health Resort in Jincheng City as an example, wild perennial flowers with high comprehensive evaluation scores were applied to the design of rural flower borders, combined with actual environmental conditions, from the plane, elevation, color and seasonal phase.Designed from four angles, the wild plants and horticultural plants are reasonably configured to create a natural flower border with regional characteristics and suitable for growth, which provides a reference for the application of wild perennial flowers in the flower border. This research aims to explore wild perennial plants in Taihang Mountain that can be used in flower borders, and constructs a comprehensive evaluation system for the application of wild perennial flowers in flower border landscapes, which can objectively reflect the application value of wild perennial flowers, and also applied practice in the actual case design. The selected plants make up for the shortcomings of current flower border materials, and provide new ideas for enriching plant species, solving the problem of landscape homogeneity, and creating a regional and cultural natural flower border landscape. |
