Alfalfa is an important forage for the development of herbivory animal husbandry, but it has great losses in hay production in Yanmenguan area due to the same period of rain and heat.In recent years, alfalfa silage has developed rapidly, but alfalfa semi-dry silage also needs drying, which has the problem of nutrient loss due to rainfall during drying. In order to solve the problems of alfalfa production in Yanmenguan area of north Shanxi Province, the water content of fresh alfalfa was quickly reduced to meet the requirement of silage water by adding corn and bran. This study was conducted in Shuozhou Junbaochen Technology Co.,Ltd in August 2020,and adopted a two-factor experimental design. The first factor was 5 mixing times(3min,5 min,7 min,9 min,11 min). The second factor was the mixing ratio of alfalfa with corn(Y)in 7 groups with different water content(M)(65%M+5%Y 70%M+10%Y70%M+15%Y 75%M+10%Y 75%M+15%Y 80%M+10%Y 80%M+15%Y).The total mixed ration preparation machine was used to mix alfalfa and additives with different water content.Through studying the mixing uniformity of alfalfa and additives,as well as the influence of water content before and after silage and nutrient indexes, the suitable alfalfa mixing proportion and the best mixing time were screened out.The results showed that:1.The 7 groups of treatments did not reach the standard mixing uniformity when mixed for 3 minutes, and they were all mixed evenly after 5 minutes. The mixing uniformity of 65%M+5%Y was the most stable during 5-11 minutes, and the remaining 6 groups fluctuated greatly during 5-11 minutes;80%M+15%Y had the best mixing uniformity when mixed for 7 minutes, which was 95.44%.2.After mixing alfalfa with additives, the moisture content before silage was within the safe moisture content range, and the overall moisture content increased after silage. After mixing for 3 minutes, the actual moisture content of each treatment group deviated greatly from the theoretical moisture content(60%),with a deviation of 11.34.When mixing for 5 minutes, the actual moisture content was close to the theoretical moisture content, with a deviation of 10.19.The actual moisture content of 75%M+10%Y and80%M+10%Y treatments was closer to the theoretical moisture content.3.With the increase of moisture content of alfalfa raw material and corn meal supplemental amount, the p H,content of crude protein(CP),crude ash(CA),neutral detergent fiber(NDF)and acid detergent fiber(ADF)in different treatment groups decreased and RFV increased. The variation trend of WSC among different treatment groups was irregular. When the mixture lasted for 3 minutes, the sensory rating scores of alfalfa and the additive treatment group were the lowest, and the sensory rating difference between the two groups of the same alfalfa water-containing beam was not significant.4.Two-way ANOVA showed that the mixing time had a significant effect on the CP,EE,CA,NDF and RFV after alfalfa silage(P<0.01).The quality of alfalfa silage was significantly affected by alfalfa and additive treatment(P<0.01).The interaction of the two factors had a very significant effect on the moisture content of silage,CP,EE,CA and WSC(P<0.01).The results of grey correlation analysis showed that mixing for 5 minutes was the best mixing time for the 7 groups treatment. The silage quality of70%M+15%Y,75%M+10%Y and 80%M+15%Y was better.
