Potato is a crop with a wide range of uses.It can be used as both food and vegetable.It is widely planted worldwide and has grown in more than 150 countries.It is the fourth largest crop in the world after rice,wheat and corn.Shanxi is the main potato production area in the country.Although potato production has achieved certain results,there are still some problems.The outstanding performance is that the potato variety is relatively single,the special potato variety is less,which restricts the development of the potato industry to a great extent.In order to breed high-product varieties suitable for vegetable and special or Combination type processing varieties suitable for production and processing,Based on the hybrid combination of potatoes of different varieties and their parents as the research material,this experiment analyzed the differences of 18 potato materials in field,potato-type,yield and quality,and applied variability analysis,correlation analysis,main component analysis and cluster analysis for comprehensive evaluation,the main results are as follows:(1)In terms of yield traits,comparative analysis of potato yield components is the number of potatoes per plant,the yield per plant,the number of large and medium potatoes,the rate of commercial potatoes,and the average weight of potatoes.The results show that the number of potatoes per plant is comparable to that of large and medium potatoes.There was a very significant positive correlation between the yield per plant,the average weight of a potato and the number of large and medium potatoes,and a significant positive correlation with the rate of commercial potatoes.The number of large and medium potatoes had a very significant positive correlation with the rate of commercial potatoes.The commodity rate and the average weight of a potato are extremely significantly positively correlated.(2)Principal component analysis of 8 hybrid combinations was carried out over yield and field traits.The best comprehensive evaluation result is: Kexin 13×Datongliwaihuang,cluster analysis divided 18 materials into 5 categories,the first category includes 8 potato materials There are 2 in the second category,1 in the third and fifth categories,and 6 in the fourth category.(3)In terms of quality traits,potato quality traits including protein,vitamin C,starch,reducing sugar,dry matter and total polyphenol content,and α-amylase and β-amylase activities were compared and analyzed.The results showed that reducing sugars were significantly positively correlated with starch content,significantly negatively correlated with vitamin C content,starch and vitamin C content were significantly negatively correlated,vitamin C content was significantly negatively correlated with dry matter content,The principal component analysis was performed on 18 materials through quality traits,and the best comprehensive evaluation result is Longshu 10×Tongshu,The cluster analysis divided the 18 research materials into 4 categories.The first category includes 11 potato materials,the second category includes 4,the third category includes 2 and the fourth category includes one.(4)After the principal component analysis of 18 potato materials,the comprehensive evaluation was carried out using the membership function value.The quality rankings are Tongshu 20×Helan 14,Minfenghong×Longshu 7,Longshu 10×Tongshu 20,Kexin 13 ×Datongliwaihuang,Houqihong×E3,Kexin13×Helan14,Lishu 6×Helan14,Longshu 10×Helan14.Based on the above research,it can be inferred that the hybrid of Longshu 10×Helan 14 is suitable as a breeding material for high starch processing potatoes,the hybrid of the combination of Minfenghong×Longshu 7 is suitable for frying,and the combination of Longshu 10 and the hybrid of Tongshu 20 is suitable for whole flour processing,and the hybrid of Kexin 13 and Datongliwaihuang is suitable for fresh food.
