Research On The Coordinated Development Of Recreational Fishery And Marine Cultural Industry In Lingang New City Of Shanghai

The second decade of the 21 st century,is undoubtedly becoming a new era that values leisure and experiences.By 2020,China has completed its great battle against poverty on schedule,with people’s living standards greatly improved.Fueled by rapid economic development,people’s overall income and vacation time gradually increase,prompting them to pursue a higher level of lifestyles,such as healthy life,idyllic scenery,experience of entertainment,leisure and sightseeing,and etc.In recent years,China’s leisure industry has been emerging and blossoming,especially in the economically developed coastal areas.The Report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China redefines the principal contradiction in China’s society at the present stage as the contradiction between the people’s ever-growing desire for a better life with unbalanced and inadequate development.To solve relevant problems in this stage,highquality leisure,experience and cultural industries,an important way to achieve a better life for the people,will become an important driver of the current development.As is known to all,the ocean accounts for 71% of the total area of the world.With the expansion of space necessary for human development,oceans are playing an increasingly critical role,for they provide huge resources for our human beings.Due to insufficient land resources,ocean management has become a main theme of all countries in today’s times,aiming for the future development of mankind.General Secretary Xi Jinping point out that China is a big maritime country,so we must march to the ocean and speed up our effort in transforming it into a maritime power.Thus,the development of marine-related industries becomes indispensable,and should therefore be the focus of people’s attention.Fisheries are an important component of marine industry.As time goes by,traditional fisheries have been endowed with many new forms of development,among which recreational fishery and marine cultural industry have been widely recognized.Recreational fishery,as one of the five fishery industries,has attracted many participants for it can facilitate leisure,entertainment,learning,which then emerges as a research hotspot in the new century.Marine cultural industry generally refers to sea-related industries,combining leisure,culture and economy,and is one of the key forms of emerging industries.With the upgrading of industrial forms,the bond between marine cultural industry and recreational fishery by virtue of cultural experience has deepened,and both of them show a significant positive correlation.Besides,the recreational fishery and marine cultural industry serve to boost marine economy.Research on their coordinate development provides a new driving force and new direction for the development of marine economy in future.As we are stepping into leisure era,this study uses experience economics to analyze research topic from different perspectives in partner with other disciplines interrelated theories.Taking Lingang New City of Shanghai as the entry point,it focuses on its current development status of recreational fishery and marine cultural industry in this area.Systematic discussion on the local development factors and the factors restricting the coordinated development of both industries is then conducted,before-related solutions are eventually put forward.This paper is mainly divided into the following six chapters.The first chapter generally introduces the research background,purpose,significance,domestic and foreign industrial development status,research methods,as well as research technical route.This chapter is the preparation for the preliminary work of the research,which clarifies its research entry point,objectives and clear position,and collects relevant literature and draws out the key points of the research.The second chapter elaborates the relevant theories and concepts,definitions and categories involved in the study.The interpretation used in the following analysis is mainly based on the theories and concepts listed in this chapter,with a particular focus on recreational fishery and marine cultural industry.The third chapter introduces the regional advantages,geographical distribution,cultural environment and other factors of Lingang New City,which can be used for this paper to study the development status and coordinated development necessity of the two industries mentioned above.The fourth chapter delves into the coordinated development of recreational fishery and marine cultural industry from the perspective of experience economics,and analyzes certain difficulties in the course of development.Based on the previous exploration,as well as the guidance of various theories and the actual situation,the fifth chapter puts forward the following seven development measures in the future coordination of the two industries in Lingang.Firstly,highlight the unique or prominent characteristics of experience and marine culture.Secondly,enhance the coordination of industrial experience development in each functional area.Thirdly,upgrade marine cultural brands.Fourthly,promote the advantages of Dishui Lake experience project.Fifthly,develop strategies concerning emotional marketing of the two industries.Furthermore,expand night economy and ecological economy together.Finally,improve the innovation and talent training system for a "talent chain + industrial chain + innovation and entrepreneurship chain" model.The sixth chapter provides a summary and a prospect.Through the comprehensive analysis and elaboration of the research issues in the previous chapters,it summarizes the research results,innovation points and deficiencies.It also puts forward the prospect of realizing the coordination and upgrading of the two industries in the future,as well as the possible reference and significance for other emerging coastal cities in China.
