| Brontispa longissima(Gestro)is one of the primary pests to palm plants.The studies on the population control of the pest were mainly focused on chemical control.The method would not only cause the residue,resistance,resurgence and pollute the environment,but also the pests are living and harming the heart leaves of palm plants,the pesticides were difficult to touch the pests.So it was difficult to control the pets.The study would screen for strong stress odor compounds on the adult of B.longissima by antennae potential and behavioral bioassay.And evaluated the compatibility between it and the high pathogenicity strain of B.bassiana.The aim was to stress B.longissima adults escape from the heart leaves,and return to the heart leaves or escape to other trees with the pathogenic fungus,Which it will cause the epidemic by feeding gather and mating.The results of study as follow:1)Determined the responses of female and male adults to 10 odor compounds by EAG(Electroan tennography)technique.The results showed that the female and male adults were stronger responses to N,N-diisopropylethylamine with concentration of 10 μL·mL-1 among 10 kinds of odor compounds,their EAG value were higher.And the EAG value were increased with the increase of N,N-diisopropylethylamine concentration.Especially,in the range of 0.1 μL·mL-1 to 10 μL·mL-1,the EAG value were increased jumpily with the increase of concentration.The EAG response of the female adults were higher than male adults.It indicating that female adults were more sensitive to odor compounds than male adults.Theremore,the female and male adults of B.longissima were significant EAG responses to N,N-diisopropylethylamine within the concentration of 0.1 μL·mL-1-10 μL·mL-1.2)The behavioral responses of B.longissima to N,N-diisopropylethylamine were determined with insect Y-type olfactometer under the different concentrations:10 μL·mL-1,1 μL·mL-1,0.1 μL·mL-1,0.05 μL·mL-1,0.01 μL·mL-1.The results showed that the N,N-diisopropylethylamine existed repellent effect on B.longissima adults,they were obvious under the concentration 1 μL·mL-1 to 10μL·mL-1 especially.To the concentration 10 μL·mL-1 and 1 μL·mL-1,the repellency rate of female adults were(60±5.77)%and(50±5.77)%respectively.The repellent effect of female adults were higher than that of male adults,the results were similar to EAG.3)Studied the effects of N,N-diisopropylethylamine on spore germination rate,mycelium growth and sporulation quantity of high pathogenicity B.bassiana BB strain under the different concentrations 10μL·mL-1,1 μL·mL-1,0.1 μL·mL-1,0.05 μL·mL-1,0.01 μL·mL-1.The results showed that the N,N-diisopropylethylamine existed inhibiting effect on the hyphal growth,spore germination and sporulation of BB strain when the concentration were 1 μL·mL-1.And the spore could not germinate and the hyphae could not grow under the concentration of 10 μL·mL-1.However,which the hyphal growth,spore germination and sporulation quantity of BB strain were no significant difference between the treatment and the control under the concentration 0.1 μL·mL-1 to 0.05 μL·mL-1,and the N,N-diisopropylethylamine would promote the hyphal growth,spore germination and sporulation quantity of BB strain under the concentration 0.01 μL·mL-1.It was determined that the concentration of N,N-diisopropylethylamine would lower than 1μL·mL-1 when it was mixed with BB strain. |
