Research On Natural User Interface Design Based On Cognitive Style

Nowadays,the research on interface design is no longer limited to the visual representation level,especially in the field of natural user interface design,but more researchers have started to focus on the deeper research of user psychology and behavior behind the interface.Users may have different cognitive styles when using digital products.When users use digital products,if the interface design does not conform to the characteristics of their cognitive styles and information processing rules,it may lead to cognitive difficulties or even cognitive errors.Therefore,in the context of cognitive style theory,it is important to study the characteristics of users' cognitive styles,and then build a natural user interface design model based on field cognitive styles and propose design principles to improve the usability and user experience of natural user interface design.The overall research is divided into the following stages: firstly,the current research,application and development status of theories of cognitive styles and natural user interfaces at home and abroad are reviewed through literature research method,and the value of cognitive styles on users' cognition,behavior and experience in natural user interfaces is summarized;secondly,the four processes of cognitive information processing are analyzed,corresponding to the perception,attention,memory and behavior characteristics of field cognitive styles;secondly,the characteristics of field cognitive styles are combined with the field cognitive styles.Secondly,by analyzing the four processes of cognitive information processing,the characteristics of perception,attention,memory and behavior of the field cognitive style are corresponding to the field cognitive style.The analysis of natural user interface design based on cognitive style theory enriches and expands the design method,content and theoretical framework of natural user interface.With the innovation of science and technology,various forms of naturalistic interaction can gradually become a reality,and users' needs and perceptions of interaction methods will continue to change,so the design of natural user interfaces based on cognitive styles and the solutions for natural user interfaces around users' perceptions and behaviors need to be studied urgently.Therefore,the proposed model and principles of natural user interface design from the perspective of field cognitive styles will provide a perspective for later designers and researchers to think about,and the study of users' cognitive styles and the final analysis of interface design problems will also become one of the important directions in designing natural user interfaces.
