The 5th generation mobile communication system put forward higher requirements for data transmission rate,but the scarce spectrum resources in low frequency limit the frequency bands utilization and spectrum bandwidth.The dual-polarization common-aperture antenna greatly saves the space occupied by the antenna in the condotion of controlling the size and weight of the antenna as much as possible[1].Two different types of antenna arrays are designed in this paper,including dual-polarization single ridge waveguide slot array and dual-polarization common-aperture microstrip antenna array.The main research contents are as follows:1.Research on low sidelobe ridge waveguide array:aiming to reduce the sidelobe level of the antenna,the research takes the ridge edge"V"slot as an example according to the principle of single-ridge waveguide low sidelobe,by means of changing the slot depth and inclination angle to weight slots.The optimal result of 8-element linear array with-20d B Taylor weighting can reach-17.5d B.2.Research on dual-polarized ridge waveguide array:based on the theory of waveguide slot antenna,a 16×8 antenna array is designed by using ridge waveguide.The vertical polarized radiation is realized by opening longitudinal slot on the wide edge of the ridge waveguide,and horizontal polarized radiation is realized by opening a"V-shape"slot on the ridge edge of the waveguide,which has realized an all-metal array and feed networks.The test results show that the relative bandwidth of the dual-polarization array is greater than 12%,and the gain in the frequency band is greater than 17d Bi.3.Research on dual-polarization common-aperture microstrip antenna array:this paper proposes an improved method of antenna element and feed network that the 8-element subarray composed of the microstrip antenna element and the stripline feed network has better performance.After optimizing the structure,a real antenna is processed and the performance of a single linear array is tested,which shows that the relative bandwidth reaches to 15.1%,the sidelobe level is better than-25d B,the array gain is more than 38d Bi,and the weight of the antenna array is less than 200kg.All the indexes basically meet the development requierments of radar system.
