With the development of the Internet of Things industry and the continuous growth of the number of industrial Io T devices,how to efficiently manage the Io T devices is very important.In the traditional cloud computing model,data resources and computing resources will be centralized in the cloud,using centralized management and computing.However,in the modern industrial Internet of Things,the number of devices is very large,and each device will have its own communication,storage and computing requirements.Centralized management and data processing of these requirements on the cloud platform will cause huge computing on the cloud platform.burden,and the real-time nature of data has an impact.This thesis proposes a gateway edge computing framework for the Industrial Internet of Things,which uses Message Queuing Telemetry Transport(MQTT)as the communication protocol,which is suitable for low-bandwidth and high-latency industrial Io T scenarios caused by device limitations.The data storage module of Sqlite3 can decentralize the data storage function of the cloud platform to the network edge side to realize the device management,data collection and storage functions of edge nodes.The gateway equipped with the framework can be used as a bridge connecting the industrial Io T terminal equipment and the cloud platform network to monitor,collect,store and process the data and information of the terminal equipment in real time,and reduce the data storage,computing pressure and energy consumption in the cloud.Based on this goal,the research carried out in this thesis is as follows:(1)Introduce edge computing technology,compare the general architecture of edge computing,and select the optimal architecture by combining different application scenarios and related virtualization technologies.This thesis introduces and compares and studies related characteristics of container virtualization and MQTT protocol in edge computing.(2)For edge gateway data storage,application management and other issues,the MQTT-based Io T gateway edge computing architecture is studied.The gateway equipped with this framework realizes centralized management of industrial Io T terminal equipment,local message bus,local data center and container.Application management.(3)Test the related functions of the gateway equipped with the framework.The experiment shows that using the new version of MQTT v5.0 as the communication protocol can reduce the average delay of the system to send messages by 6.8%-12.4%,and the maximum message delay by 5.9%-12.6%,the maximum number of messages the system can send is increased by 11.6%-15.7%.Compared with the cloud computing solution,the overall network transmission delay of the gateway using this framework can be reduced by10.2%-15.7%,and the overall energy consumption can be reduced by 12.4%.
