Investigation And Suggestions On Regulatory Problems Of MCN Company In Nanjing

MCN,originally produced in the United States,is known as multi-channel Network,which refers to a content product form of multi-channel Network.These contents are provided centrally by a company through attracting creators,and such company is called MCN company or MCN organization.The original mode of MCN organization is content intermediary company.With the rise of MCN industry in China,MCN organizations have sprung up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain,and have developed more diversified business forms,integrating web celebrity incubation,content production and business cooperation.At the same time of the MCN industry "Thousand Sails Competition",many illegal problems such as content anomie,illegal crime,distortion of mainstream values,fraudulent consumption and so on have gradually been exposed.In the face of the violation of laws and regulations in the MCN industry,the regulatory authorities need to perform their official duties and catch the development chaos of the MCN industry.However,there are many problems and loopholes in the management of MCN institutions in China,which is not conducive to the healthy and orderly development of MCN industry.The core investigation question of this report is the current regulatory situation and regulatory problems of MCN Company in Nanjing.It mainly adopts the investigation method of in-depth interview and obtains the following findings through the investigation:Nanjing MCN company has the following four regulatory problems,First,MCN company does not have business qualification certificate,it is difficult to achieve standard management and operation;Second,lack of MCN industry support and professional training mechanism;Third,the current regulatory means are difficult to achieve daily supervision,unable to find problems in time,can only be investigated after the event;Fourth,the regulatory authorities "Kowloon water control",management is difficult to implement and costs money.To this put forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: First,reduce and simplify the qualification certificate application standards and procedures,guide MCN company to operate with the certificate;Second,establish and improve the MCN industry long-term support mechanism and professional training mechanism;Third,improve the level of intelligent supervision,establish a shared database,and supervise the research and development of daily supervision technology means;Fourth,on the basis of the existing regulatory authorities to establish a coordination mechanism,consultation and joint governance,implementation of management;Fifth,the establishment of Nanjing MCN Industry Autonomy Association to guide the healthy development of the industry.
