The Star "Central District Show" In Life Variety Shows And Its Emotional Fairy Tale Research

Under the premise of combining "authenticity " with "back stage" and "revealing" and acknowledging the divinity of stars,this study starts from Merowitz's theory of Middle Stage.This paper attempts to explore the active dimension of this classic exposition by combining the practice of star's active exposure to " authenticity " in variety shows.Because Merowitz's "middle stage" is essentially a passive " middle stage" : through television media," back stage" is exposed to "front stage" without the knowledge of "actors ".The "middle stage" created by the combination of the two has a profound social impact.The entertainment star actively exposes the media scene constructed by "authenticity" in the variety show,which breaks the type division of "front stage "," back stage" and "middle stage".It can be conceptualized as " active middle stage ",and its dynamic practice process is " performing middle stage ".Based on Durkheim's discussion of religion and the related discussion of emotionalism,this study is devoted to revealing the type and process of "authenticity" of exposed stars,and then tries to explore the social causes and potential effects of "performing middle stage" on this basis.This study adopts text analysis method and case analysis method to study the intertextual network formed by variety show focused on star's "performing middle stage ".In the scope of knowable,this study collects 22 kinds of life variety shows in variety market,and uses text analysis method to sum up the type of "authenticity" and its exhibition process in star "performing middle stage ".The purpose of case analysis is to understand and grasp the related exposition by analyzing typical cases.Entertainment stars actively expose "people "," things" and "feelings" in variety shows.The exposure of these "authenticity" mainly follows three modes: natural record,game competition and offside show,which have the same logic ——emotional fairy tales.As far as the type of "authenticity" is concerned," person " refers to the relatives,friends and working partners of stars,the former includes the parents,children,parents-in-law,father-in-law and mother-in-law of stars;" thing ",that is,the daily life of star groups,the material places of work,including the place of home,leisure,and the place of work;" feeling" refers to the daily emotions —— troubles,anxiety,pain,and happiness of star groups as people.They also show the star's ordinary face on the whole.The game competition mode is mainly used for parent-child variety shows.Under the fixed process and rules,the interaction and emotion between star parents and children can be highlighted.Offside show mode refers to the host and guest in the studio —— professionals,star relatives,star himself—— to evaluate the star "performance center ",which is dedicated to the star "authenticity " in-depth excavation and multi-dimensional presentation.These three performance models follow the same logical design: with emotion as the weapon,the challenges and problems in the process of star "authenticity" exposure are properly solved,and a happy ending is ushered in.As a result,the practical problems are confined to the field of family ethics,interpersonal communication,star charm and aestheticized.This study calls this logical design as emotional fairy tales.Although we can hold the position of the elite,we can think that the emotional fairy tale of the star "performing middle stage" is a kind of spiritual opium and low-level culture,or make a liberal and Marxist political and economic criticism of it,but it is not only a derivative of social control and power manipulation,but also rooted in the emotion as biological instinct and Hume's emotionalism.In the modern society of "disenchantment ",reason does not provide meaning guidance.In the situation of " God is dead ",individualism can not properly relieve the anxiety of modern existence.Stars are the same as the public.In the post-religious and post-revolutionary era,that is,in the case of the collapse of the meaning system,people turn the subjective identity to the only secular emotion derived from family ethics and labor work,and try to carry out self-rescue and meaning compensation with idealized emotional vision to confirm their own existence.As a result,although it can be criticized as an ideological emotional fairy tale to create an illusion,obliterating the possibility of progress,it can not be denied that it originates from the emotional psychological needs of a rational society and people who are satisfied with technological progress and material wealth in "depoliticized politics " also lack enough courage,imagination and emotional basis to think about specific and clear alternative possibilities.Therefore,in the looser emotional community,people in post-religious and post-revolutionary times legislate with moral emotion under the guidance of stars.The defect of this study is that "performing middle stage" is not limited to variety shows,it also exists in news organizations,short video,webcast and political election as a practical strategy.Therefore,the universality of the research conclusion of the star's "performing middle stage" in the variety show needs to be further tested,and the "performing middle stage" as a theoretical concept also needs to be supplemented and perfected in combination with other media practices.Secondly,due to the lack of learning ability and limited ability,this study only makes a rough structural discussion on the "back stage" type,exhibition mode,social causes and potential effects of "performing middle stage".Further research can be cut from other perspectives,dimensions.These problems and shortcomings need to be solved and remedied.
