The key features of travel television series are entertainment,appreciation,Promotional and service,which can not only provide the natural humanities but also help audiences appreciate the close association between individual destiny and the change of times.The TV presenter,as interactive subject of television program,creates multi-type pragmatic identities by selecting the mode of discourse.Moreover,their different pragmatic needs will be reflected by the role presenter playing in various pragmatic context,as a result of which contributes to the better disseminating effect in the travel show.Taking graduate work “Hiking” as an example,this paper mainly takes the use of the “pragmatic identity” of pragmatics and other relevant subjects theories in combination with related classic works,and investigates the pragmatic identity of travel presenter by employing the methods of documentary analysis and case analysis.To be specific,this paper has been divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction for discussing the research background,significance,current situation,research methodology,innovation and brief synopsis.The second chapter defines the travel television series and the pragmatic identity of a presenter,and combs the types of pragmatic identity of the presenter of tourism series,which also divides the presenters' four pragmatic identities: Narrator,Traveler,Interlocutor and Listener,explaining the performance and motivation under the establishment of different pragmatic identities.The third section of this article,combined with the specific performance of presenters in graduate work,aims to elaborate the specific discourse mode of presenters applied in the television series,including four aspects of speech fashion and three aspects of nonverbal mode.The fourth chapter of this paper,from the perspectives of physical world,mental world and social world,dynamically analyze the operation of pragmatic identity constructing in different communicative contexts based on the linguistic adaptation theory.The last chapter discusses mismatch in identity selection and pragmatic limitation presenter made in the process of building their pragmatic identity in a travel program shows,and then propose the related solutions.In conclusion,based on the above discussion,this paper indicates that to construct the multi pragmatic identity of the presenter in tourism programs requires to employ the verbal and non-verbal means in the dynamic context.Furthermore,the strategies applied in this study highlights the identity,self-identity establishing and additional questions weakening.
