With the rapid development of wireless communication system,the traditional singlefunction power divider has been unable to meet the development needs of microwave communication systems.Reconfigurable power dividers have become a research hotspot in microwave field in recent years.In recent years,some researchers have proposed liquid metal reconfigurable technologies with the advantages of low loss,simple structure,high power processing capability and wider tuning range,and applied them in antennas,filters and other fields.But in the aspect of power divider,there are few researches on liquid metal reconfigurable technology at present,so applying liquid metal reconfigurable technologies to power dividers for is proposed in this paper,and several kinds of reconfigurable power dividers with reconfigurable frequency,power division ratio and passband numbers are designed.The main research results of this paper can be summarized as follows.1.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional power divider with fixed working band and high-order harmonics,a frequency reconfigurable dual-band power divider with harmonic suppression function is designed.The harmonic component is effectively suppressed by loading V-shaped defected ground structure,and the frequency reconfiguration of the power divider is achieved by using liquid metal reconfigurable technology.The experimental results show that by adjusting the length of liquid metal,the first working band is basically unchanged and the tunable bandwidth of the second working band is 170 MHz.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The proposed power divider can be widely applied to multi-band microwave systems.2.Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional power divider with fixed output power division ratio and poor reusability,a reconfigurable dual-band power divider with reconfigurable frequency and power division ratio is proposed by using liquid metal reconfigurable technology.The measured results show that under the condition of equal power division ratio,the tunable bandwidths of the first working band and the second working band are 480 MHz and 1GHz respectively.Under the condition of unequal power division ratio,the tunable bandwidth of the first working band is 220 MHz with the power division ratio continuously ranging from-5.2d B to 5d B;and the tunable bandwidth of the second working band is 280 MHz with the power division ratio continuously ranging from– 4.6d B to 4.4d B.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The power divider with reconfigurable frequency and power division ratio can be used in power amplifier network,reconfigurable beamforming network and reconfigurable antenna array.3.The traditional power dividers have poor selectivity near the expected working band.In order to improve the out of band rejection of the power divider and reduce the size,a reconfigurable filtering power divider with reconfigurable frequency and passband numbers is designed.In the design of the power divider,three working passbands are achieved by using the combination of multiple resonators,and the reconfiguration of frequency and passband numbers is achieved by using the liquid metal reconfigurable technology.The measured results show that the tunable bandwidths of the first passband and the second passband are 190 MHz and 440 MHz respectively in the two-passband state,and the tunable bandwidths of the first passband,the second passband and the third passband are 170 MHz,310MHz and 550 MHz respectively in the three-passband state.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The proposed filtering power divider can be used in microwave circuits with high requirements of integration,miniaturization and frequency selectivity.
