With the development of broadband satellite communication system,on-board switching technology is also developing.On-board switching technology is responsible for the transmission of information between users and supports the normal operation of the whole system.At the same time,due to the characteristics of the satellite communication system,we expect that the on-board switching equipment can cooperate with the synchronization and reconfigurable functions of the system,and can adapt to users such as multi-beam antennas.In addition,we expect that the on-board switching equipment is not only a channel for business data,but also a channel for control data.The interaction between the control terminal and the user can be realized through a separate control interface,and the remote control and telemetry of each user and the switching unit itself can be completed.Based on the project "Design and Implementation of the Space-borne Double-body Switch" undertaken by the laboratory,this dissertation designed a dedicated satellite-borne switch applied to broadband low-orbit satellites,and divided the switch into a business plane responsible for the transmission of business data and a control plane responsible for the control of information exchange.This dissertation first introduces the research background and key technologies of on-board switch.Secondly,by analyzing the requirements of the project,the switch is divided into business plane and control plane,and the design scheme of business plane based on crossbar is proposed,and puts forward the dual mode redundancy and hot backup design scheme of control plane,according to the function is divided into different modules,and processing of various modules were introduced briefly.Thirdly,the key functional modules of the business plane are designed in detail,including the business interface module,the packet processing module and the sending processing module.Fourthly,the key functional modules of the control plane are designed in detail,and the detailed design of input processing,remote control and telemetry is introduced in turn.Fifthly,build simulation test and board test environment,test the design scheme,and prove that the design scheme is correct,the performance is stable and reliable,and the expected goal is achieved through the joint test of the actual system.The innovation points of this dissertation are as follows: firstly,a special packet processing module based on the custom communication protocol is designed and implemented to complete the processing flow of reconfiguration,synchronization and multi-beam in the protocol;Secondly,a special control plane based on the custom control protocol is designed and implemented to realize the dynamic switching of the serial control interface and the hot backup of control information.Thirdly,the entry and exit queue processing method with the function of high-priority crowding out low-priority is designed and implemented,which can save the queue cache space and further guarantee the high-priority business.
