Surface plasmon resonance has good qualities of avoidance of identification,high sensitivity,high resolution,and small amount of test samples.The micro-structured optical fiber has a unique pore structure,which is generally applicable to the domain of sensing.In this thesis,a surface plasmon resonance refractive index sensor is built from a hollow micro-structured optical fiber.The hollow-core optical fiber is integrated with a metal material,and the finite element analysis method is accepted to study the effect of diversified arguments of the sensor on the sensing function.The significant research achievements of this thesis are as below:1.Through the MATLAB programming operation,the hollow core fiber is used as the carrier to simulate and calculate the SPR sensing structure model,and discuss the role of the gold film thickness in enhancing the sensitivity.When the gold film thickness is 80 nm,the mean sensitivity is between 1.51-1.57 in the refractive index.Reach the maximum: 4275.5nm/RIU.Then use COMSOL software to analyze the sensing properties of the two cladding holes of the hollow core photonic crystal fiber with gold filling and gold covering.When the refractive index to be sensed is1.34-1.38,the calculated average sensitivity is 14875nm/RIU and 15505nm/ RIU.2.In accordance with the principle of SPR,a sensor based on anti-resonant fiber is constructed.The analyte is placed in the central pore,and gold is filled in two symmetrical cladding pores.Study the influence of fiber core radius,inner diameter of cladding tube and thickness of cladding tube on sensitivity.When the thickness of the cladding tube is 1.7?m,the sensitivity of 7350-14790nm/RIU can be attained when the refractive index means to 1.33-1.45.When the refractive index is 1.33,the resolution is 10-6RIU,which can be used to detect human glucose content.3.Designed an SPR sensor combining anti-resonance optical fiber with gold film and oxide film.When the cladding hole is only plated with gold film,analyze the role of gold film thickness in enhancing sensitivity.The optimal gold film thickness is70 nm.The refractive index is to be tested 1.33 to 1.43,and the highest sensitivity is13900nm/RIU.When the refractive index of the three oxides are from 1.33 to 1.43,the larger the refringence index,the higher the sensitivity,and the highest sensitivity is 16240nm/RIU,18130nm/RIU,18810nm/RIU.
